Michael Porter Jr. Press Conference after Denver Nuggets 104-97 LOSS against Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and the Phoenix Suns. In the post-game press conference after the Denver Nuggets' loss to the Phoenix Suns, Michael Porter Jr. (MPJ) addressed the team's shooting struggles and defensive efforts. He acknowledged the Nuggets' failure to capitalize on offensive opportunities and mentioned the uncharacteristic misses by teammates, including himself and Nikola Jokić. MPJ also touched on the defensive tactics of the Suns, crediting their coach, Frank Vogel, for excellent rotations that hindered the Nuggets' usual cutting and driving strategies. Furthermore, he discussed the situation with his brother Jontay Porter and the impact of sports betting on NBA players. MPJ highlighted the pressure from fans' expectations related to gambling and how it has become a pervasive aspect of the game.

Michael appeared to answer the question honestly. He is not the one who is in trouble here. It isn't up to Michael to tell us anything about something he didn't participate in. I think it is so cute he got a nanny for his pup. The puppy is so cute.

MPJ is my second fave Nugget off the court; great character, down to earth celebrity. He gets it. I truly hope his bro is found innocent. Frankly, the refs & league itself should investigate themselves. Absolute hypocrites. Decades ago it was proven refs were gambling on games they officiated….and gee….I wonder if that stuff goes on today? 🙄 Amd now the league is cuddling up even closer to gambling. Absolute shame. What happened to the game I love, indeed.

When you start enjoying the game merely because of gambling, what's the point? Instead of enjoying a simple game, you make of it an addiction.

Sadly because simple is not enough for many. It’s all about that ‘hit/power’ whatever that ‘hit/power’ is. As a person of faith, it’s like: God made the gospel of grace so simple…that even a child can understand. But man/enemy had to go and complicate it, “look at this (apple, mans power) over here’, it’s all good, God won’t mind”. God is simple and he does mind when we try to complicate His Truth! 👆🏼🙏♥️

Many of us have gotten to know and like MPJ and his family through the media. Like all families, they've had some setbacks. Out of respect for them, I'm going to withhold judgment until the facts come out. With that said, there should be zero tolerance for anything that undermines the integrity of the sport. Being a fan is dependent on a belief your team is totally committed to winning. W/out that, they'll lose me.

TELL THEM MIKE!. LET THEM KNOW!. People Jontay like he really did something. We don't know and yet his name is being throw out out of the mouth of some many people having a "take". Gambling is an terrible hobbie and the NBA and the NBA community are a bunch of hypocrites telling how bad they are while having sponsorships and segments promoting and pushing gambling. You can see our watch any sports news without having them telling you where, how and the odds of your betting and tell you how X platforms is the best to gamble. Betting ruinings the spirit of the sport and open the door to so many terrible things and is being pushed so hard than even minor are interested on betting and feels like nobody is a fan of the sports. Everyone watching just to see if they hit their parleys

The NBA are hypocrites? How? It’s pretty obvious. Sportsbooks help the league make money. At the same time, it’s pretty obvious why players are not allowed to gamble on games in their own league. Dude will always publicly support his brother and hold him accountable privately.
