I agree with your dad, Poomy, when you're eyes are opened, growing in a poor environment, you are very young, but you dream high, and you tell yourself, no, I don't want to end here, children from rich environments, they're not seeing deeper. But I was different, my poor circumstances caused me to like books, even when it was difficult I saw education as my way out of poverty, like your father I did also nanny jobs etc to move forward in life. Thank you for sharing your family with me. Blessings.

Holding tears as your father tells his story. I have experienced some of the things he talks about such as wearing someone else`s uniform because you can`t afford it. It really crushes your self-esteem but God is faithful. Doing my final year now in B.ed and wherever I do my practicals in a poverty-stricken school. I treat my learners with compassion because I have experienced the things they go through. God really has a plan for each and every one of us just trust in HIM. However, I don`t blame God for what I went through it made me the person that I am today. It taught me to treat people equally and not based on what they have or where they come from. GOD BLESS YOU.
