I turned 17 in 1977. You could buy any one of these cars in excellent condition for $2500 or less. My senior year I was cruising a Red 1964 1/2 bone stock Mustang with the original spider rims. That was a fun ride.

Der rote 64er Ford Galaxie ist einfach nur der Hammer. Ein Sound zum Niederknien und Hut ab vor dem Fahrer, der es schafft, mit so ner Kiste schnell zu sein.

Great video!! Muscle Car of 70's.....one of My favourite category of Car! It's Not Easy find this kind of Car during hillclimb Race. ....congrats!

Those second generation Corvettes, remain probably the best looking American cars ever. Before Corvettes were disco cruisers, they were the hottest American car available.

the black corvette was built and driven by FIA multi time top fuel Champion Urs Erbacher 👍 the guy is a great racer in anything.

So the Vette at 3:45... Looks like a roadster that someone actually made a custom hardtop for that looks like the coupe with the big rear window? Because if you look at the window line on the B-pillar that's not a coupe. Interesting...never seen that before.

2:52, The bat symbol on the front is symbolic, as this was the car that they based the Michael Keaton Batmobile off of.

no they are not, they are SPORTS cars, SPORTS cars have only 2 Seats. Shelby GT350s (1966) are also Sports cars. Muscle cars are based on Coupes with more than 2 seats. Learn what a real Muscle car, not the European Ignorance version.

You can tell right away this muscle cars define the very most of the american roads. Meant to be driven straight thru and nothing else

That's mainly the Galaxie and the Fairlane. The Mustang actually competed in rally races back in the day, collecting it's very first few wins in that sport. As for the corvette, that's always been a performance oriented car, designed to handle and make big power on the straights.

false. you dont know what you are talking about. do some research please. we have autocross and handling challenges each yea, and 99% of the contestants are old american cars.

+omarda187 You can tell right away that you don't know much about racing or you'd know that similar Corvettes won at Daytona, Sebring and also led half the race at Lemans in '67 running 22mph faster than the Ferraris. Only failed 12 hrs in because Chevrolet insisted on winning with a completely STOCK engine. But those places are all straight lines... Get a clue...

thats because those period cars are. I also felt like I was going to die watching the ones in the rain as it would be hard as hell to control tanks like that on wet roads even if you are going slow lol.

that red ford fairlane only weighs like 3600 lbs stock. its probably 3200 as in the video.
