@isaiahdobesh5109

Juvenile diabetes isn’t simply diabetes in juveniles, it’s was more prevalently found in emerging when patients were kids and teenagers but got rebranded as Type 1 diabetes as in recent years it’s been found and diagnosed in a more wide range of ages. Unfortunately the condition is chronic as it is an autoimmune problem where the immune system improperly targets certain hormone producing cells in the pancreas, there’s no cure yet, only medicines to replace the lost hormone.

I never really watched The Simpsons and haven't seen an episode in years but for some reason the scene where the doctor is describing how all of the diseases are backed up is one of the few scenes I can actually remember I couldnt remembered the episode or the context of the scene but I just remember that scene in particular and I am actually so happy to finally have some form of context even if I don't know what this is referring to or why Mr Burns is getting a check up and I'm okay with that.

I've used this explanation for various things over the years. For example my PMDD. Every month seven days before my period I feel a shift in my psyche. Then I get.... Something. Either manic, depressed, paranoid, or whatever. I explained it to my husband with this clip and said basically every emotion tries to get through at once and which ever one gets through that's what I feel for that week. It really helped him understand why one month I could sleep for a week and be depressed and next month I don't sleep at all and rearrange the whole house.
