It's crazy how many characters had such huge impacts on the show then died and were forgotten. I really wish they mentioned more of these characters in the last two seasons

My favorite scene wit Mr. Eko was between him and Anna Lucia. Anna Lucia: "You've been waiting 40 days to talk?" Mr. Eko: "You've been waiting 40 days to cry."

The candidates were to replace Jacob, The Man in Black (Smoke) hated Jacob (his brother), and wanted to kill all the candidates so no one would replace him and the island would be doomed

incorrect. it was not written down. this has been debunked thoroughly. also, eko his a first name. last names, for example shephard, were written down. not first names like eko or jack.
