I have a Mr. Funnel that is at least 5 years old. An F3C. Used it a lot for a couple years then got lazy. Started using it again several times a week when I got a Sport Pilots License and an aircraft. They scare you about water in the gas and tanks when you train to fly. 😉 I got scared just now 😱 and went out and filled it with water. No water got through. 👌 Nothing came out. Whew! Maybe I'll fly tomorrow.🙂

I purchased the fc3 and Fc8 from Amazon. The fc3 works fine. The fc8 failed first test when I slowly poured a small amount of water through it. I sent it back as it was faulty. Another thing, you should only fill with fuel half way up the filter otherwise the pressure forces water through.

I've had good luck with one, it will not stop water that is mixed with ethanol, you have to separate that with another proccess first! The separation is easy, plenty of instructional videos on YT, these funnels will work for water problems in non - ethanol gas and other fuels such as diesel and kero. To clean out the screen, hold upside down and pour in clean fuel... Most of the dirt collects near bottom of screen so, while upside down fill screen about 3/4 full with water, then pour clean fuel again.

I think its damaged , try returning for a new one . Ive had one for three years , saw your vid went out and tested mine . Still holds water back
