A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZfaq. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZfaq I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on KZfaq won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This KZfaq channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

On Dec 8th, Otis Redding recored dock of the ,two days later he was killed in a plane crash. He was 26. At the end of the session Otis, and co writer Steve Cropper could not find a lyric for the end,so they had Otis do the now famous whistling at the end It was to be temporary, but he never made it back. Can you please react to " I've been loving you to long" Shows of his powerful voice.

@@mattshaw6180 - He is literally the WORST KZfaq reactor. I've been watching his reactions for the past month and I am not impressed. I'm horrified. The guy does volume reactions (like 10 a day), so it's shallow low-quality reactions. He does not take his time with each song. All he wants is 'Likes' and Subscribers. I don't think he has ever actually heard a single line of lyrics in any of the songs he reacted to. This guy reacted to one of the most profoundly deep painful songs ever released, and danced to the beat during the entire thing...and only commented on the beat and the 'tune'. WORST REACTOR ON KZfaq. THE WORST.

AS Bachman Turner overdrive says, YOU AIN'T SEEN NUTHIN' YET! TRY A LITTLE TENDERNESS has been covered by so many singers I can't even remember them all. He died young in an airplane crash. However, EVERY song has become a solid gold classic!! If he had lived, he would have been the undisputed king of Rhythm and Blues.

J, you'll love his "These Arms of Mine", it is spectacular. It was used in several movies and tv episodes. He had at least eight top 10's on the R&B charts. His his earlier work really shows off his soulful voice, and should be listened to. This was the first single released after his untimely death.

Otis joined his buddy into Memphis and Stax who was supposed to record. In between the sessions Otis stepped forward to the microphone and began singing These Arms of Mine. The producers heard this song and were super excited and asked the engineer if he got that on tape! Yes the tape was actually recording and Stax signed Otis there and then and he became the label's biggest artist.

When this came out in 1968 I was a 22 year old sailor in the US Navy and finishing up my first tour. I actually didn't get to hear it until we returned to Hawaii in mid spring after a deployment off North Korea after the USS Pueblo had been captured by the NK. It was kind a reminder of the type of music that had been around in 1967, "The Summer of Love", and San Francisco was the hub of that culture. Otis had already been around for many years by then. Sad he died so early.

That 2000 miles i've roamed, wasting time sitting on the dock of the bay? Lonely, sitting alone...The East African, Central Americans, the students from Russia. They related to his story. Leaving home, leaving everything in search of a better life. I learned a lot abt the power of this song. We think its this happy song, but it is deep.

When the BeeGees were struggling to make a hit when they first arrived in the UK, their manager introduced them to Otis Redding and they were of course star stuck. Then their manager told them ro write a song for Otis to record. So they wrote "To Love Somebody" for him. Sadly Otis did not live to record it so the BeeGees recorded it themselves.
