I've had this for about 2 years now. Shame most NHRA footage from 91-99 is not on KZfaq. MotorHour Seekonk Show 2 episode is almost done, just need to commentate it. Enjoy this.

Yeah that beautiful Castrol GTX Oldsmobile. I think I still have those built Revel Model Kits of Forces' Castrol, McCullocks' Miller and Larsons' Sentry somewhere here. Who would have thought back then what will follow this season....Force the all-time underdog to the winningest driver of all time. For me those late 80, early 90 Funny Cars are still the most beautiful. Distinguishable bodies not as today where they look basically all the same with different brand stickers on it. Thanks for the upload. Awesome stuff!

I wonder if John ever imagined that they'd eventually be running almost 2 seconds and about 70 mph faster than they did in the 90s
@SiXiam6 ай бұрын
They actually kept slowing them down in the 90's because it was unsafe. They could have hit those speeds back then.

$40,000 is all they got for the race & championship? no wonder they always said the sport was too expensive to run the full circuit. and Coil saying he gets a big chunk of that. If Coil gets a big chunk of that, how much is left over for everyone else including John Force?
