I never watched the first one so i can't say what it is for that but yeah Reborn is the perfect mix of him being an idiot and him being cool and experienced

I love how this movie has the perfect mix between Comedy and Drama. Yes its most of the time funny but it never looses his seriousness or gets silly. Like the scene in the church, where Johnny talks to Patch or the infamous look of Simon back to the window where Johnny was standing.
