On the expedition the batteries go into protection mode after 24hrs of nonuse to reactivate the batteries u have to push the battery bar button on the batteries and your good to go , glad u were not stranded bro

I have the same issue with my gtx 20amp version. for some reason it doesn’t like when you charge it while on the bike. If I charge it while its off the bike I don’t have any issues. But if I charge it while its on the bike the bike wont turn on. And the only way to fix it is to take off the battery and plug in the charger then take off the charger and it starts working again

😂This #RAEV company is a joke! They contacted me last year and wanted me to review a bullet, I said sure, then they changed it to another bike and I signed their "agreement contract", still nothing, communication is horrible with this company. They reached months later in Sept saying they want me to review their new #GTX and like an idiot I said ok, again, they told me it wouldn't be ready till December cause they have to work out production kinks.....lol, ok so I wait, well now it's 3mths later, March and I'm still waiting.....🤦‍♂They can't even live up to their own commitments on top of their poor communication. I'm not surprised their product has issues.

for replacing the headlight you might want to use 12V (100W) LED block lights. Just take a few mins with the wiring n soldering. Quick n simple to have it done (except for the mounting).

I conducted a range test on the larger battery, and it performed quite well. However, my bike is not under recall. I believe you need to activate the small battery; there is a switch inside when you remove it. That's likely why there's no light or the small one may be completely discharged.

Yeah yesterday on my ride I somehow bumped the power button on my second rear battery. I was riding along and noticed that I lost 2 bars in like 4 miles. After I turned the second battery back on, I got my bars back and the voltage jumped back to 54. Just pointing this out to back up your thought about your monitor reading the voltage/capacity of the battery that should be fully charged.

Sometimes you cam revive the cell by plug it in and out really fast. A guy from a battery company taught me that. Do you know about the x20 engwe. I tried to race one with my engine pro but that bike is fast. I'm impressed.

its cool they send a polished limited edition version of the bike to you. I think it seems like a good platform for an upgrade too. Looks pretty cool. I used to build batteries for my e-scooters when i had them. Some Battery Management System(BMS) requires you to plug it into the wall to "activate" it for the first time. I would guess the factory didn't test it out? Can't be for certain thou. Just my opinion.

Some batteries even though they say full charge you have to charge it for a couple minutes to activate the BMS.

I just bought a grizzly dual motor dual battery and my second ride I got a flat and I searched it out and because I live in the high desert is a little tiny needle so what I did I didn't even fix the flat I put in that green slime crap and it's still holding air what a miracle that stuff is

I tried 2 batts on my surron... same voltage, both 60.. But one is a 70ah and the other is the org. umm 32ah I believe... I think the smaller batt charges the bigger batter when both connected... I haven't tested it out fully...

At the very end there was a commercial about a bike Jason Eb 7 x Hunter I got the name wrong because I'm saying it on the speaker and sometimes this phone doesn't really say exactly what I'm saying because I could never type that fast it's not even possible but my point is there is so many different e-bikes out there it's getting crazy and the most thing I worry about is these batteries blowing up and burning down my house but I got this special safe that I need to line it with some material and it has a hole for the charging line I'm just very concerned about these batteries exploding and catching fire and it scares the living hell out of me because my phone did it the other day It blew up because it was puffing and I panicked trying to get the front door open to put it on the ground outside to let it burn and that was a phone from cricket I never seen anything so scary in my life anyways great video God bless

Can you review the earrape Romeo pro e bike? The bike weigts 100 pounds not including the battery with the big battery it weight 123 pounds and it has a 1200w motor peak out at 1600w goes 34-37 mph. it a 48/ 60 ah controller. The bike can reach over 75-100 miles of range so that will probably get you to work.

I don't know why you don't start your business in your garage take those bikes that you've collected and neither buy or build a shed in the backyard to keep them so you have room in the garage then if you fail you don't lose too much and also the batteries should be put in a special box that would prevent them burning down your building or your house I live in Apple valley California I have a acre and a quarter I have 3 40 ft highboy shipping containers wow what a fantastic way to go to have lots of room plus my house already has 6 1/2 garages and plus I live in rural area I could have a business just not a lot of traffic I don't want no complaints and I have a machine shop and I can build fix and create anything I am blessed beyond what I could ever imagine God bless

Battery fires scare the crap out of me. Its why I want go for these types of bikes that are sketch asf. I don't know anyone reporting fires with my nami scooter, but you hear a lot about these ebikes. With crappy bms or none at all and or crap cells. I'd have all them detachable batteries in a fire proof electrical box

Dude be carefull with the batteries. If you hook up a half charged batterey to a fully charged one they will balance out instantly and can be catastrophic. Try reading some on the topic and be careful.

Cops in our area are doing their jobs with traffic laws and even empounding illegal bikes. Please don't promote things that will make people angry. It leads to more calls to the cops and then stricter enforcement. There is talk of having to have special e-bike licenses after one learns proper bike riding, and even need for insurance. Don't blow it for the rest of us. Your knowledge of e-bikes is exceptional. Looking forward to more videos.

The lower battery has a switch, when it goes out, it transfers to the bigger battery on top, and no, you did not make a video about that switch of the battery on the bottom

Did you not read the manual for the battery blender? You want your voltage the same in both batteries when you connect them together. If you don't it will just run off the battery with the highest voltage. Don't connect 2 batteries when they are far apart in voltage. Think of your car battery. 12v. You hook up jumper cables to your dead battery and there are sparks. Why are there sparks? Because of the voltage difference. Batteries want to be the same voltage so what happens is a giant pulse of current as the 2 batteries want to match each other. Think of voltage as water pressure. Amperage as how wide the pipes are. Amp hours are how big the tank is. Now you have powerful lithium batteries trying to match voltage, this is dangerous because guess what... Batteries can discharge faster than they can charge. Heat is the enemy of all electronics. If you feel a lot of hear coming off a component then that component is using a lot of power or in this case being pushed past it's limit. Throw that blender in the trash dude. Always leave both batteries connected to each other and always charge them connected together so they are always the same voltage. Capacity does not matter. Your ride will use the same amount of watts either way so there is no point in switching them on and off separately and creating a dangerous situation with a voltage difference. Same capacity. If you have a 2 motor setup then have at least one switch so you can shut off a controller(the front motor normally). The battery blender is usually low amperage, honestly I consider 30a as low amperage. That would be a bottleneck in any really powerful ebike. Don't put things that impede current between your battery and controller. Always make sure your BMS allows enough current to support any controller upgrade you are making. And for God sakes people, please stop buying a whole new battery to upgrade to 72v. If you are reasonably handy you can make a secondary pack with another BMS in it that will manage all the batteries between both packs and save yourself $2000. If you're an idiot don't even try this but if you know how these batteries work it really isn't all that hard. Batteries don't know if they are in the same cases or not. The leads going to each cell are balance leads so usually this is capped off under 200 milliamps, no real current is moving through them. $150 for a battery blender. Nope.
