In some ways I’m kinda glad the OG’s aren’t in the “hype” category nowadays because it’s been easier and cheaper to acquire some of my all time favorite Jordans and this is definitely one of them. I’m slowing almost at my goal of having all of the jordans I’ve always wanted in the 90’s. These in my top 10 I’d say #6

Same. I used to be heavy into Nike sbs but now people are paying asinine prices for outlet shit so I've started beefing up my older Jordan's collection. I actually got the 2011(?) Flint 13s and the newer Chicago 13s off eBay for like $220 shipped. I definitely will be trying for a pair of these too.

I’m definitely getting these. 13s are my favorite silhouette. I had gotten every colorway that came out in 98. The flints weren’t my favorite back then, but after a while I probably wore them the most. I was a senior in high school, and my first Jordan’s I ever got. It’s been a slippery slope ever since!

Great video brought me back to when these came out. You don’t always remember the years but you do remember the feeling of not having them which is such a gift now. That’s the joy of a sneaker being retro-the idea of fulfilling a dream to own a sneaker once you couldn’t afford.

I’ve been wanting these for 22 years and finally last week and I was able to get a pair, missed the first release in 98 I missed and couldn’t afford the first drop in 2005 missed and couldn’t get the size I wanted in 2010 and finally after 22 years, I finally got my first pair of retro flints, I could never afford them before because whenever someone purchased them, they would always resell them way above retail anywhere between $500-$800, so basically for every drop they were pretty much impossible to get, I finally got my holy grail’s .... one word!!, #Classics

The retros of the flint 13’s were when J’s were released on weekdays. In middle school I remember ppl showing up in mid-day with these. Fck these go hard, always were, always will be. 10 out of 10...Don’t have an exact ranking number on these, but they’re definitely in my top 10

So many great memories with this one. I was about 8 or 9 when i started to get into shoes and I camped out when i was 10 to get them in 2010. With that being said they sold out before i could get my size at the time and it took me until 2019 to pull the trigger and get my grails. This has always been my favorite Jordan and I might just have to double up and get this year's retro. As always great video much love brotha!!!

@@u8ntme86 What is there to not understand? How is my comment confusing? I said the Jordan 13 Flint is one of the best non-collab Jordan retros to release in a while. I said best "non-collab" because the only other good recent non-collab, og color Jordans were the bred 11s, bred 4s, and infrared 6s. I honestly like the flint 13s better than any of those because I get bored of all the black and red jordans. Its nice to have some other colors. I also like collab Jordans better than the non OG colorways that Jordan Brand releases. Most of the non OG colorways that Jordan Brand releases are recolors of classic colorways (court purple is just a recolor of Chicago 1s). Collabs are way more creative. I'm not a hypebeast because I like Jordan collabs. I do like hyped shoes like the Travis Scott 1s & 6s, but I also like a lot of recent non hyped collabs like the Patta 7s or N7 Jordan 8s. (Plus I don't even know anything about Travis Scott, I just really like the color palette he uses. I love earth tones like brown and green on Jordans). And most importantly don't accuse me of not being a shoe guy. I have been into shoes for over 10 years!

These are the best 13s in my opinion. I’ve always wanted a pair since high school. Finally bought myself one during 2010 release but I paid resell. Worn 1x n my lil brother begged me to sell it to him. As a good big brother I am I said I’m not going to give you but I will sell it to you for $100. Now they’re finally back. I had the ogs in 98, I hope I can get these. These are my favorite j’s. The 98’s were the best version till I seen how these came out, I would clean them right after I wore them no matter what time it was when I got back doing whatever it was I was doing.
