For Wotakoi fans there are also special editions of the vol 6, I believe there’s only 3 and each have a different cover plus something extra.

Seven Deadly Sins: The Four Knight of The Apocalypse was meant to be published on May 24th, but was published earlier on the 19th. Idk why, but guessing I would say because the anime was announced and they want to get the hype up and audience in. I really recommend checking it out! Art and story is ver good!!

I’m most excited for Wotakoi volume 6. Also, if you pre order it from Kinokuniya you get an exclusive cover and I think artwork. Barnes and novel also has an exclusive cover.

BnN has been dropping a lot of the manga I've been interested in acquiring days before it's actual release date. Like DN: Short Stories for example. Will be picking up that manga about the weakest being in the universe. Sounds interesting. Thanks TOC!

I saw Silent Voice in thumbnail and immediately jumped into the video. That's the first manga I actually preordered in my life and I'm super excited and anxious for it to arrive! It will be absolutely gorgeous edition - hardcover, with beautiful high quality paper, oversized, with additional content. Just as the story of Silent Voice deserves. Everyone, get ahold of that manga, definitely worth the money!

Your my number one info on english translated manga releases. Haven’t heard about summer time rendering and its coming out on disney plus as an anime, definitely picking up the 3 hardcover volumes coming out at the end of the month.

Thanks for making this series. I was kind of interested in Crazy Food Truck, but now that you've informed me that it's only three volumes, I will most likely be picking it up lol I was most excited for Death Note Short Stories, and I already got it. It's the same size as the black 2 in 1's, which is good for you, cause I know you have those, but I have the 12 singles, lol so it's too tall, but I'll deal. I think it's worth it still.

I own three versions of the Sailor Moon manga: the original Tokyopop singles, the Kodansha singles and the Eternal Editions! I will only buy the manga again if it’s in color!

I'm a sucker for stuff like Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible, that's definitely on my list. I'm adding the Summertime Rendering based upon your commentary on the volume quality, I was a little shocked at the prices, but if the quality is there, I don't mind spending a little more. Thank you for including We Never Learn 21, that brings us the fifth of the five endings to that series.

I dropped we never learn. But from my understanding of your comment does that mean their are 5 different endings where he ends up with each of the female leads? (Best Teacher, smug senpai, big boob glasses, flat board cut mathemetic & Tanned swimmer tom boy?) Cause that might rekimdle some interest in me again to stick it out.

@@BrotherHood-xh9sg That's right, each of the last 5 volumes of We Never Learn is dedicated to one of the love interests. I find this particularly satisfying because I like all of them in this manga (unusual for me, I often have a "best girl" that I am cheering for).

@@robertdaffin4832 Thanks, that might be an interesting read after all. Since in most of those harem romcom manga, either nobody among the main group ends up together as not to upset the readers favorite pairings and leave the ending ambigious. Or the MC ends up with one of the leads, leading to the fans of other ships being dissapointed (like Nisekoi if I remember correctly). So I might finish one of those harem romcom's for a chance. Just to be properly invested in the special endings. Thanks for the explination.

Aria the Masterpiece is wonderful. I watched some of the anime years ago. One of the best slice of life properties ever. It's so relaxing and happy! I absolutely will have all of the manga volumes. Tokyopop did say there will be no reprints after these sell out.

I wonder if the special edition of a silent voice differs from the german luxury editions. It's genereally always fun to compare version differences but "a silent voice" was my first manga so I'm extra intrigued now.

Looking forward to completing my Fairy Tail collection with the final box set. The Wolf Never Sleeps looks really interesting, might pick up that. I really enjoyed the anime for Cells at Work so I may eventually pick up the box set.

I’m making my way through your videos (I get behind oh them lol) and I’m not sure if you commented on the Fullmetal hardcovers. They’re quite thin and there’s a lot of them. They’re far pricier a piece than the original volumes or the 3in1. I generally don’t like 3in1 but they make sense to me for series like One Piece and Gantz. I believe you have the hardcovers yourself, but they seem to be very minor in changes as far as the “new” translation goes

They’re 1.5 volumes in one each, eighteen total as compared to the original 27 volume series. $20 each so in total $360 compared to $270 for the paperbacks (and even less for the 3/1’s, of course). However the price hike is due to better quality paper (processed, white paper that won’t yellow as quickly as newsprint), the increased trim size of the volumes, and the hardcover format which allows for better quality binding. The Fullmetal editions are not meant to be value editions of the series but rather are premium format collectors editions, which I’m quite partial towards especially in regards to series I love.

Pre-ordered Aria the Masterworks back in September. Was disappointed when I realized they are softcover not hardcover. But still excited. Have you heard of Our Teachers Are Dating? The last volume, 4, comes out this month. Despite the name it doesn't follow the students of the titlur teachers but the twachers themselves. Nice slice of life yuri.

I am wondering for other international viewers. Did any of you check out Rightstuff and while a great USA & Canada site, it is pretty bad for international buyers. I thought of buying the 7ish manga volumes of Spy x Family for about 50 euro/dollar range (special offer). So I was excited for that until the shipping price was calculated at 40 euro/dollar. That's a lot even for international shipping. (From USA to EU).

People don't sleep on a manga called Eden's Zero. It's a super fun space adventure series. Also, check out the manga called Cirque Du Freak. It's a fantastic 12 volume dark fantasy manga and it's so good.

The aria releases aren't new. They've all been printed since 2019 but sold out. It's only available again on rightstuf cus of a preorder petition that succeeded

Any news on Black Jack? All these re-releases mean that the exclusivity with DMP expired already. I expected Vertical to reprint Black Jack but all these new editions are making me think that they're not allowed to do so.

Lol... best of luck getting 14. I need those teen volumes too because I made the mistake of not checking if the series can be completed easily when I saw most of the volumes at the dollar bin. We're better off trying to beg for Ring Ni Kakero to be published 😆.

If the humidity is high your books will yellow over time. That's the only real damage
