To change it up at halftime for the recruiting updates, I think after next week when I talk defense I'll start looking at individual positions and looking at the current roster/depth chart and that way there will be more individual depth into the talk about each position of need. I think it'll work well, and it'll give me more to talk about definitely.

Well, it was an ugly win, but a win is a win. Let's start with the QB, Phillip Nelson. He didn't throw the ball too often, but when he did, the throws were spot on. There were a few times where he didn't make the best read, but he'll improve. Next to the RBs. Kirkwood had himself a day as he led all RBs with touches and yards. I can't wait to see what else he does this season. Gillum had the nice TD run, but we're still not seeing him make too much of an impact. The WRs and TE. Andre McDonald is easily the best playmaker on this offense. Freuchte and Goodger also had themselves a nice day. I would like to see Crawford-Tufts make more of an impact in the passing game because I'm sure there are other guys who are dying to get some playing time. The O-Line was pretty shaky, but they should improve. I'm a bit worried about them facing some elite D-Lines in the future. The D-Line looked okay. They need to get off their blocks a little bit quicker, but they didn't allow any huge runs. The LBs had their best game of the season today. They were tested a lot in the run and pass game, and they played really well. They may have allowed a lot of yards, but UTSA went intermediate a lot. The secondary. They weren't really tested this week, but they looked good when they were. Overall, it wasn't the best win but the team is 3-0 looking to go 4-0! Go Gophers!

A Tip to MrHurriicane: When you attempt a field goal, and you aim the trajectory lower (with the left stick), it gives your kicker more range. This lets you kick those deep kicks like the one at 11:33. I apologize if you already know this/have been doing this, it is hard to tell if you do and not many people know about this. Love the vids and I am looking forward to what you can do with this team.

Just a helpful hint but maybe when your playing a team with a mobile quarterback like Michigan or Ohio state use plays that use a linebacker or DT as a spy. I've found that the qb runs less and when they do they don't get as far.

Cane you've got to be more efficient on the offensive side of the ball or you are going to get crushed in big ten games. Now that you've played with Minn for a couple games you should be able to devise a plan of attack for each game.
