It's Year 4 of the Madden 24 Saints Franchise. After two tough seasons forcing us into a rebuild, we're hoping to emerge as a playoff contender once again. With a new Quarterback and exciting offensive additions, could the pieces be in place for the Saints to compete for the division title?
My Franchise on Madden 24 begins with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints offer a unique challenge compared to any other team looking at their future cap space problems and aging roster. The Saints are not a bad team in 2023 at all. But their future could not be anymore problematic as cap restraints will cause them to move on from players, including some of their aging veterans they still rely on.
I aim for a more sim feel to my Franchises. I play on All Madden sliders that promote a more realistic play style. I have developed my own XP sliders to create a more authentic feel to Franchise in terms of developing young players and replacing regressing veterans.
This will be my biggest Madden 24 series, and I'm excited to get the rebuild underway.

In my most recent madden Franchise I whiffed on QB like 3 times. Traded for Richardson, drafted a few and it didnt work out. I took a flyer on a 5th RD guy, he was superstar dev and just took off when I started him.

I think he's the anti westbrook. Westbrook is all arm strength no accuracy, Mac is all accuracy no arm. Jones is still mid af, but that's about the only realistic midseason transaction you're gonna be able to make

Love the QB storyline, whichever way it shapes out. I do want to ask, do the injury sliders need tweaking? Are other teams getting guys injured for multiple weeks at the same rate as the player team? I know you do a lot of slider stuff and all so I assume you're on top of it, but I wanna ask just in case.

In all honesty I love that your trades allow for younger players (such as Lance Wheeler) who should be starting a chance to actually start. And gives players more opportunities where they will get more playing time. I appreciate it.

I did a Colts franchise, and Richardson got hurt 3 times in year one then missed year 3 with injury. He simmed really well. But after getting injured in year 4 I traded him for scraps.

Cole Strange definitely makes this better but idk, feel like you could've went with mayweather and then went all in for a guy on a struggling team and then shipped off westbrook to match timelines. Give a team that needs a little more roster construction westbrook and you get someone like a herbert or tua or something idk.

I also think you should try to get Roby involved in the passing game alot more. his skillset is like Austin Ekeler, not a homerun hitter but a dual threat. and it'll help with your QBs not having to throw down the field so much. more screens and checkdowns

Cane, love ya, but the sliders need to be made easier for the defense. A defense with this good of players playing this bad isn't realistic. If you need proof, just look at the fact that a pulling tightend was able to block vita Vea 1on1 in this game. I don't even know if prime jim kliensasser could do that.

i really think the playcalling is the big issue. madden may have a wide range of plays available but the game favors certain types of plays. barry skelton would be an absolute stud if you utilize his skill set, athletic ability ie speed drastically changes how users perform compared to cpu which seems to be perfect regardless of athletic skills.
