When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢 Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History. The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony. These are my views on this amazing masterpiece The Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! It’s impossible to get the full meaning of this video and song on a first go around… you did better than most. The more I watch it, the more it rings true to my soul… This is Dimash’s statement to the world. He’s not going to be politically correct where he has an issue… He is going to promote love only… enough of hate music, hate countries, hate politics, hate agendas… He is putting his staff in the sand, and he will lead anyone to love who wants to go. Never mind about religion, society, race… he will lead by example… he doesn’t claim to be a savior, just someone who will show the way.

Another thing you gat the boys wrong, the one being save is DIMASH, the president type leader. At the end DIMASH kills the friend that rescued DIMASH from the ocean, but at the end DIMASH gets kill by soldiers of the revolution. That is why he end up in water because he was supposed to died in water. The turn of events in this video is difficult, like you turning the boys. The saving- leader and the one save DIMASH. And if you pay attention to the kid saving DIMASH on the beach, while he is trying to save boy DIMASH he would not stop looking at her. At the end of the kids scene you see the bigger boy and the girl in a weird situation, I think something happened there, maybe the rejection or something like it. After he separated himself from the other two in the boat, I think he was mad at that point and that is why he didn't want to take the token that DIMASH gives to all of them. In a scene of the bad one he has the small medal that DIMASH gave him on the beach, they show it so you could understand that he was the one saving DIMASH, now kill by the one he saved. At the end the three are dead since mom died giving birth. How do you know that, well she was not shown with the baby on her arm, plus he had the little girls medal that DIMASH gave her.

If you dident gett some what happend...here are some of how I see it..Dimash was the little boy that was saved and the girl become Dimash wife and there dother that was killed of soldiers from the man that was the boy that saved Dimash. That man was angry and desperat becouse he loved the girl/woman to and she shoose Diamssh! So he started the war in Dimash town do to that. The women giving birth with Dimash and her son died during the birth. There son grow up in the end to unite every human and every religion to a peacefull and loving life. In April 1945 at the end of World War II the town had been occupied for a last-ditch stand by the Wehrmacht against the advancing United States 3rd army, and was almost completely destroyed by American artillery. Postwar efforts have reconstructed some historic buildings. Dimash also sang John Lennons "Imadgine" that the time is over for dream about peace we have to act. Think abouth wath we al can do to gett that result in the end. He dosent care of what religon you have back to the text in the end...everyone should acept outhers regrdles of skinn couler, religon or anything els that we today divides people!! Think on how we are actting to outhers, think before you say hurtfull words and try to understand them as a human insteed. Becouse we live on 1 earth and under 1 sky!!!! The older boy (with mole on check) becomes the commander. When he gets the necklace he bends it, he has lost his way. The drowning boy finds the gnomon's and makes the necklaces. He becomes the soldier who marries the girl grown up. They have a daughter - the one who is killed. She is pregnant and is spirited to an underground place to give birth to their boy child. The soldier kills the commander/old friend, and he is killed in turn. The mother/wife dies in childbirth. Her necklace is placed on the baby boy. The religious leaders struggling up the mountain are rejecting war and heading for the light/life. The soldier/drowning boy/necklace maker/husband/father dies while back at his 1st death screaming 'We choose life' and dies. The baby boy/his and the woman's son/transforms into the robed figure. Dimash as the robed figure looks directly at the camera with a small smile before turning and leading the rest towards the light/life and peace. He may be the baby boy grown/the soldier reincarnated/and Dimash all in one, delivering the message and leading us all towards life/love/light and away from war. I absolutely saw this video to be referred to Russia/Ukranian war, where 2 brother nations are fighting and killing each other. The dictator represents Putin and how he is killing innocent people and children in Ukraine. So Dimash couldn’t tolerate that happening and had to kill his best friend (brother from childhood) The message is that “We choose life” that innocent people in Ukraine shouldn’t be involved in the politics. The dictator saying “we war unites people” relates to Russia taking over some of the Ukranian land and uniting it with his own.

and now imagine Ukraine in place of the Girl with a pendant, and Russia in the place of the dictator....

Yeah, you did confuse which child was which--but your version presents an interesting dilemma. Do you save someone if you know they will go on to destroy a world? Where does the hope that a person can change and take a different direction fit into that decision? In this version, Dimash makes the decision to kill his childhood friend, the very person who saved his life once but who has become a dictatorial military leader. Here the dilemma that is proposed (well, one of them, anyway) is whether it is ever good to kill someone to prevent more evil. The video doesn't really say. But there is a definite sacrificial element shown as Dimash turns around and faces his own death. Is that a form of atonement for his act of violence? Another question. There is a lot of symbolism and deep meaning in this masterpiece. One viewing (for me, at least) was not enough to understand even half of what Dimash's vision tries to show. He wrote the story, composed the music, sings and acts in this piece--his singing is spectacular, but it almost takes a second seat to the story and the message he is trying to give to the world. If only the world would listen. We as individuals can't change the world, but we can strive to change and better the lives of those around us--which of course means that each of us must make a choice to change ourselves too. One at a time--we are individuals making separate choices, but part of the hope is that we can unite in one purpose, as we go on a pilgrimage to seek the light.

Thank you for your reaction to this however if you'd paid more attention to the video and hadn't missed many pointers to what what was actually going on you might have understood better. This was to date the most expensive video ever made, you did it quite a diservice by not paying attention. You may be interested to watch the live performance which is just as powerful. I love Dimash but why this song? His vocal range is almost unnatural and the control he has is beyond belief. This is an ok song, but to fully appreciate his talent, I would have chosen a different one. Try Love of Tired Swans for a better example. When he sings in his native tongue (Russian) it makes a difference. Tbh, I don't care much for this one compared to some of his others that will leave you speechless.
