I told the brook and somewhere over the rainbow are two songs that showcased Bill's voice to it amazing ability ..and in fact the song Somewhere over the rainbow has been covered by so many people over the years and if you put them all together and listen to them all one after another ( I have done this ) not one of them can come even close to Billy Thorpes version he just blows away any competition including Judy garland ( original 1939 ) and every time I hear Billy sing this song I have wet eyes ! so sad to have lost this Enormous Australian talent at such a young age ....R.I.P. Billy !
