The Islamic form of slaughtering animals or poultry, dhabiha, involves killing through a cut to the jugular vein, carotid artery and windpipe. If i am wrong on what halal means, feel free to correct me. But i see no difference on how animals are killed.

I'm at another level where everything on earth is meaningless, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, heirlooms. Take the middle finger. In the usa, it means fuck you. In the UK, it is 2 fingers which came from the middle ages of archers showing they still have their bowstring fingers. In asian countries, it means NOTHING. But human eating other animals as long as its halal is good. Tiger or lion or other animals that hostile like them eat other animals and humans as well. No one calls that cruelty, so its not cruelty either if we humans do same. Its the circle of life. All living things are born to be consumed wait what. Crazy to think Gordon Ramsay watched his videos and found humor in it. I know he's nothing like the Hell's Kitchen show, he's actually really chill but I didn't take him for a person with a sense of humor and self awareness. I absolutely love it. I’m Indonesian…and I must say Uncle Roger knows the real Indonesian ingredients by name such as; kecap manis, egg noodles, and IndoMie which it impresses me. Also, its common to use MSG (vetsin)and shrimp paste (terasi) to get that authentic taste. Lastly, Indonesian are predominantly Muslim so adding bacon (pork) into mie goreng is highly unlikely to be served on the street corner. Uncle Roger is right on the money there!!! Good video Paman Roger 😊

I'm an Indonesian and a big fan off Indonesian fried noodles (mi goreng). I must say, Uncle Roger was right about the noodles. It has to be egg noodles, but sometimes you can do rice noodles as well. And Gordon missed shallot. Indonesian rice/fried noodles always have shallot in it, mixed together with garlic, cut of chilli, and also MSG. I feel good also Gordon use a sweet soy sauce because that's an important thing on this dishes. Can't wait to be on your tour and I've reserved my ticket on your show in Houston!

Whisk and other instruments make drawer stuck only because you're using the wrong size drawer for those kinds of utensils, lol. Just use a larger drawer for them. If you don't have larger drawer you can always use a canister or something similar to put utensils in and set up on counter for easy access.

I love that an amazing comedy troll got the world's most famous chefs to get down with the meme. Gordon is a Chef I highly respect and take much of his guidance into account when I cook.
