I genuinely love how Uncle Roger is absolutely unafraid to criticize Gordon, or insult him, at the same level he’d insult anyone else. My grandmother taught me almost everything i know about cooking and i will never forget two of them... "Always let your meat rest." "Always cover your meat." As it turns out, her advice was useful outside of the kitchen as well. And yes, she knew what she was implying🤣🤣🤣 she also said she "don't like sweets in her meats". The fact that Chef Ramsey commented on this just show us how cool he is. He is so certain and sure about his talent, which is not deniable, he took this video and the humor lightly, as it should be. No one will see this video and say Chef Ramsey is not a good cook. Unlike mr. Unknown upcoming chef? This is Gordon Ramsay, he's world famous and has been for a very long time. He had the title and lost it and is being a good sport about it. Uncle Roger became famous by insulting and judging people like him. He made up the uncle title and he'll give it when he wants to. Most of the viewers were waiting for him to mess up anyway, since he scraped the pan uncle roger had a reason to not give him the title and make the fans happy and laugh.

9:08 modern nonstick pans do not chip away from metal utensils being used. I got a pan that got damaged when moving and you can see gouges in the metal but the nonstick coating is still on their somehow.

Non-stick coating doesn't evaporate when it touches metal it's just very easy to scrape off. But gently touching it with the round side of a spoon doesn't do anything to it.

A guy in my dorm once ruined my non-stick pan by "cleaning" it with a metal sponge. My friends later told me they had never seen me so furious, and a little bit of that Asian parent murder instinct was awoken in me. He's lucky I didn't have a slipper on hand.

Remember taking food tech in high school, new room, new utensils. Non stick pans with metal utensils to be exact. Nearly had a panic attack first lesson. The teacher got some wooden utensils the next week after I told her that we should be learning to take care of the gear we use as well! 😂

No they don't. Anyone can cook anything that they like, however they like and call it what they like and teach it to whoever they want. You do not own the rights to the ingredients or the combination of ingredients and you certainly do not own the rights to a dish because you were born in a certain place. Grow up.

As someone that helped out around a friends ranch a bit growing up, longhorns are actually not great for meat. They're a naturally lean and tough cow that was great for people settling the west, though they do have an extra beefy flavor and they make great hamburgers. Mostly though people raise longhorns because they look cool lol.
