I doubt Apex is dead, it feel REALLY anticlimactic to introduce this badass kaiju killer who’s a bro to Boy only to kill him off in the second season at Boy’s hands. My best guess is that Apex, like you said, goes into a sort-of hypersleep or statsis lock like state when he takes to much damage as to conserve power as his body regenerates the damage. A good example is with the transformers as they do something similar when they take to much damage, they have a stasis lock or stasis chamber that they use to heal damage but it deactivates them as to conserve power

With how the boy is small and well... A child... I imagine once he is full grown he could end up as a cat 6 if fully grown. In the sub, the boy was said to be a cat 2 so a cat 6 full-grown boy who is no longer a gremlin but an ogre would be sick(yes I call boys kaiju "gremlin" due to how similar to them it is, and his personality).

I hope there is gonna be another season. There's gotta be SOMETHING. Even if it's a tragic ending where Boy is the final enemy or the final enemy is another kaiju like Boy, but far stronger. Boy is apparently a tier 2 kaiju, but what if there is one that is a tier 5 or even tier 6? A successor to the Atlas Destroyer, and possibly the annihilation of Sydney and death of the father. And give us more of Spider and the memories of icantrememberhername.

I noticed something in season 2 and that is Obsidian Fury's face, it shouldn't be intact because in Uprising his face was ripped off. So I want to know how is face is still connected to his head.

Mega kaiju vs the breacher: by power alone the mega kaiju outclasses the breacher. The mega kaiju( kinetic energy absorption, 2 tails( very prehensile) can throw spikes , long claws, sharp and jagged teeth. The breacher was never shown any particular ability but it makes up by its giant arm that can give quite a pomoling(has shown with Atlas destroyer) , sharp claws, sharp teeth. The size of the kaiju come into consideration the breacher is the biggest kaiju to date being category 6, in length it is quite long as well. The mega kaiju is not as big as the breacher but it is much more longer than the breacher. Another thing to take in consideration is the mega kaiju under the control of the precursors ans the breacher by the sisters. Side note: I am curious to what you think of this mini theory and compilation of data.

The funny thing is that Apex was a drone jaeger infected by kaiju blood and turned into a jaeger kaiju hybrid and since SCP-008 is a zombie plague that infects people turning them into zombies, kaiju blood could be the precursors zombie plague to infect this world once the kaiju have taken over. Which makes me wonder if the high priestess is also a kaiju human hybrid because she and the other sisters bleed kaiju blue which is acidic, so they could be the other sleeper agents that are trying to bring other humans to help pave the way for a kaiju victory. Am I the only one wondering this?

Definitely feels like Apex made a noteworthy sacrifice and remain will “dead”, but I definitely agree that there is more potential the could do with Apex. And if they do play around with its mixed physiology, it definitely seems like Apex essentially will be benched for a while.

I have a theory about the Breach and it has to do with the Numerous Breaches that were made in the Uprising War. Due to the simultaneous openings I imagine whatever tear between our world and the antiverse became unstable and thus erratic, which makes it so while there isn't one GIANT breach in one stationary location, there are multiple smaller breaches that pop up randomly and just as quickly disappear. Or...Something else.

Oh, Pacific Rim fans would love to see a Pacific Rim spin off series centering around Apex coming back to life and become what us Pacific Rim fans would like to see Apex to became one of the many good guys of the Pacific RimVerse, especially become almost as powerful as Boy would become once Boy evolves into a much stronger, more powerful version of him-self when he becomes older, and us Pacific Rim fans want Apex to be around for a very long time, especaly, Apex is needed to be around to help calm Boy down or return Boy back to his senses when ever Boy goes out of control which is why Apex is needed to be brought back. And within this Pacific Rim spin off series centering around Apex would also center around a world-traveling Human Family that specialized in hunting Kaijus who comes across the Bio-mech and saves him, and in turn Apex protects and helps the Human Family while he slowly evolves into a much stronger, more powerful version of him-self so that one day he could meet Boy again in Boy's and the Travis Family's battles against the evil Kaijus and their masters the Precursors.

My personal theory is that Boy is meant to be a miniature hive mind for the Kaiju: It’s mentioned in the show that more recent Kaiju have testicles, and are reproducing. Which was never a thing before the Uprising War. These new Kaiju that are wandering around, making babies, and letting themselves be fed by weirdos in canyons, aren’t hooked up to the hive mind. They act more like animals, we even see them attack eachother and ignore people, something Kaiju never did before. Boy however could potentially be able to link up with these “wild” Kaiju and command them. Basically serving as a hive mind hotspot. My guess is that something happened to Boy when he was sent through the breach that prevented him from connecting with Kaiju (though I’m not sure what, seems counterproductive to send an unprogramed weapon).
