She had a tendency to elaborate on her childhood. It wasn't quite as horrible as she made it out to be. She saw her Mother regularly. Truth is she was a prescription pill addict. She popped 12 -14 pills a day to her friends' dismay. She created the Marilyn persona. I don't think she could ever get past it. You can't be a sex symbol and a serious actress at the same time. It's never worked for other actresses either. Pick and choose.

Hi folks, great footage. Anyone near San Antonio, Texas? I work at Ripley's Believe It Or Not and Luis Tussaud's Wax Museum and we are currently displaying Marilyn Monroe's gown she wore in 1962 to sing Happy Birthday Mr. President to JFK. The dress was bought in auction by Ripley's for 4.8 million dollars making it the highest priced dress bought in any auction. It's here at our wax museum for a limited time with other memorabilia and looks stunning. More than 55 years have passed since her death and she's still greatly missed. I'm a Marilyn fan as well and am just taken when I'm near her gown she wore in 1962.

Men are fawning over her like a piece of meat. When Marilyn was at an event no other beautiful women there existed apparently. The man with the dog was looking down her dress while she petted it and the trumpet man was standing behind her looking down her dress and touching her shoulder. It all seems too much...she is smiling all during this, but inside she had to feel like screaming and running away.

@@donngodfather285 She was very depressed and so confused and felt unloved. Men wanted her for One thing and we know hat that was. So she was 'not as happy' as people were thinking. No children??? That alone can cause problems from within as she probably earned at times for that and for life-like other women? We will never know? Think of the men even Presidents who wanted to be with her and were, and then did not want her, and went back to their wives in the end. Heaven only knows what else happened. She knew it but did not want to admit it to herself but her subconscious was telling her what was wrong. I do feel sorry for her to be honest, but she was lovely. Just was lonely and broken most of the time anyway. One would feel like a yo-yo if people treated you like that. She wished for stability.

So sad and tragic for her little sweet pup. I am a dog rescue and animal abuse volunteer on Facebook and my heart breaks for all the orphaned pets. Frank Sinatra's secretary adopted Maf (he gave Maf to MM prior) but poor pup was killed soon after when hit by a car. He perhaps was confused and frightened without his beloved MM and took off to try to find her. :(
