We were just kids back then, what did we know? We thought they were the greatest ever, and then Paul sang "Yesterday" alone on the stage during Ed Sullivan's TV Show. That moment is when we KNEW they were the GOAT.

If you just like music you like any music (except for kpop of course). Sometimes i hear norwegian black metal, then some classical 70s 80s stuff, then some orchestral compositions, then some rap. We live in crazy times.

So pleased i was alive for some of this (71). Band on the run was one of my very first favorite songs. A roller coaster of emotion and movement. No doubt helped create this music lover. With all the amazing digital stuff artist gave to work with now, i really wish my daughter had a Beatles/McCartney caliber talent to ignite her passion. Not saying there's not good stuff being made, just not legendary works like these.

There is only one Sir Paul and never will we see another. Every musician who Grace's the stage with him gives 150%! No mail in efforts are attempted or accepted. Even the guest superstars give all they got and more for the opportunity to be involved in the gig. The audience leaves every emotion at the venue and leaves with a story for life.... I feel blessed as a musician and fan to be able to view these outstanding pieces of work...

His music is, indeed, TIMELESS, I was still in elementary when I first heard of his songs, his music never dies.. it's always a timeless hit! I'm so thrilled whenever I hear his music, he really loves music and even at the age of 80 he loves to perform, people have been missing his songs! ever since the Beatles had been disbanded!

I hope he lives to a 150 and outlives me so I don't have to experience that day cause it's going to be a sad one that's for sure. Sir Paul means so much to the music and the world. Greatest lyrics duo in history..Simply the greatest Lennon and McCartney..I was very lucky the day I was walking up the street with my shoeshine box looking to make enough money to get in that long line to buy the first Beatle record. It was 1964 and I was 13.I finally made the 59 cents and jumped in the back of the long line.About 45 ,mins later I made it to the register where they had 3 45 rpm records of I want to hold your hand left.To my surprise the flip side was I saw her standing there.I played and played it.It was the day the world changed and I knew my generation was going to fix things..Wow.What memorys..

Paul was just as great on his own. When the pivotal Beatles albums were being created most professional observers noticed Paul was doing most of the work. Lennon was sort of becoming too full of himself as some sort of weird social philosopher. George was merely Okay. Ringo is a damn good drummer.
