I agree. I've seen McCartney a few times over the years and it is clear he has lost some power and his range has declined...but this is quite normal. I think Jagger is pretty much the only one of his generation who has kind of bucked the trend for this. At the end of the day, I was there and I'll always remember it. Such a fantastic night.

Couldn't agree more Paul Ringo n Ronnie have created sooooo much joy for the world over the last 50 plus years that it doesn't matter to me what they sound like. I'm just grateful that they're still with us and I super-appreciate every moment that I get to see them. I watched the September 2018 McCartney nyc concert on KZfaq and I was just saddened by how mean spirited some of the comments were about Paul's voice and other things. Anonymity gives some people "license " to write things that they wouldn't dare to say publicly . I’ve read multiple remarks about Paul’s voice being less than stellar on this song, and they’re right. Buuuut... he puts on a long show - well over 2 hours, he’s singing on every bloody song of the show, he’s touring, meaning he’s singing at least a few times per week, and this is the encore. I say give it up for THE MAN! I’m sure the audience was happy he played for so long that night. They got their money’s worth. And what a fantastic legendary encore it was!!!
