I beilieve Harvey said that they did the scenes once as scripted then the director let them all cut loose. A lot of, if not most of the scenes here were improvised. Including the "I'm so happy!" part in the beginning.

I’m so happy my recommendation didn’t fail me today. I love watching Mrs.Doubtfire back then as well as watching movies with Robin Williams. I didn’t even know he died back then only found out when I became a teenager which was many years passed his death. He will forever be missed...

Also, fun fact. Luck Be A Lady Tonight is from the musical Guys and Dolls. I was a Tourist, a Mission Doll with Cymbals, and a Gambler. It was an absolute blast to perform in the show. Being autistic I had my moments though but it was so much fun and I made a lot of friends that I am still friends with today. My favorite actor, Tom Hiddleston, was in Guys and Dolls as well, in the Havana fight scene.

Fun fact - Robin actually is NOT wearing the makeup/mask, which is why he is filmed with his back turned to the camera. This was done deliberate as the producer did not want Robin's "Mrs Doubtfire" character to be shown too fast which is why you only see the top part of the mask when Robin puts the glasses on.
