The impressive part is not only did Mrs. O. successfully complete the repair, she did it while watching over an inquisitive child through most of it without losing her cool once, while also doing her front office duties. Plus, she was working on lunch when you came back around. That's some BOSS action right there. Eric, you gotta give her credit for nailing it under these circumstances.

Your statement at the end is soooo true. You give so much inspiration to many women out there. My neighbor needed some work done to her car. I showed her this video, gave her some confidence, and the use of my tools. To me, it was an easy job (light bulb). But she did it and saved herself $50.

Commenting on this really old video because I have a really old van - this vid was just what I needed to finally rip open my lift gate trim, so I could access my rusted-in-place latch handle, clean it up and get it working again. The real-time demonstration was perfect - Thanks!!!

When fixing up my truck throughout the years I've always bought OEM. Being and 05 though, certain parts can be a little hard to find though. Long story short I wound up settling for a dorman door handle. My least favorite part of the truck. I suppose I relearned a lesson. No part at all is still better than a dorman part!

Mrs. O is a really good mechanic. She knew exactly what tool to use to pull the wiper mechanism. You might think of hiring her when the car work gets backed up!

Women can learn to fix cars, and guys can learn sewing & cooking. Never say "I can't!" My mom worked on a farm, then in the airplane factory in WW2. Mrs. O has very good basic technical/observation and tool skills. A great effort. Well done.

I love those pictures of women working in factories during WW2. We can do anything if we're prepared to try 🙂 I've always fixed my own cars and motorcycles because it's really expensive to have someone else do it here in the UK. I have ended up falling into being an engineer and machinist in my own little company keeping vintage motorcycles on the road.

You’re too hard on her Eric! Dealing with your daughter watching and asking questions while Mrs. O was working through it really well. She knows the steps and I know you like kidding with her but she did a really good job. Just watch this video on your own and see her face as it shows how proud she is of her accomplishment!!! It was awesome!

That's an awesome job Mrs. O. I think after the tire and oil change video and now this electrical diagnosis and repair, there should be a recurring spot called "Mrs. O's Corner: Making Auto Repair Look Simple". She pays more attention to detail than half the mechanics I know. Again great job.

Thank you for this video! My kids climbed on the back of our Odyssey and broke the rear window wiper loose. It was hanging straight down instead of where it should normally sit. Thought I was going to have to pull the entire back panel of the van and tighten it from the inside somehow. Saw how you removed the wiper with your video, and it was as simple as popping off the back plastic and tightening the nut to get the wiper tightened down and working again.

Hey Mrs. O , It sucks that the typical mechanic never fixes his own or his lady’s ride, but watching you “just git it done” yourself, proud of ya , just like my wife , she can change a tire ,change brakes (pads) help with jump starting a car . Just replaced my wife's windshield washer motor, and the rear wiper motor needs to be replaced. So, I found this vid and watched the whole thing. Totally priceless. The best part was Mr. O coming in at the end, and then bragging about the potatoes!

lol my wife almost killed a brand new car because she took it to jiffy lube. I kid you not they only put one quart of oil in it. she told me later that night that the oil light was on. lucky I caught it in time. she said she did not want to bother me. so after that I showed her how to do it herself

That feeling at the end of the video when you know you should feel a little bit of guilt lol. Sometimes we are put on the spot when the unexpected happens lol. I was laughing the entire time, I can imagine Eric's feeling and trying to brush it off by asking all those questions including how she tested it, quality content.

I didn’t look at the channel when I click on the video. All I did was type in how to change rear wiper motor, then she showed up, I clicked on her and watched till the end then Eric showed up. I was like, wait a second. I had no idea this was his channel. I love the ending when they are talking at the end. Great video!!!
