It’s the death of innocence. Leon is teaching the girl how to defend herself and survive in the dangerous world she’s been thrust into, but at the same time, he’s teaching this young girl how to take a life. This little girl, who should be complaining about homework and going out with friends to the mall and arguing with her parents over trivial matters, is quickly becoming a cold-blooded killer with a jaded worldview just like Leon. He’s deeply guilty of this fact, despite his pride at her skill. I think he wants to be a real father to her, but he doesn’t have the knowledge or the experience to be that for her, so he gives her the only thing he has to offer, that being the skills of an assassin.

Richard Kuklinski used cyanide. He told in interviews that he dosed it into a beer and bumped into his victim in a bar, accidentaly spilling the beer over them. Some time later the victim would die from the cyanide sinking into the skin and bloodstream. He killed in many ways over the years but this might be the most "genius" and assassin-like one.

I'd prefer she didn't. The whole beauty of the movie is how Leon's money - and ultimate sacrifice - serves the purpose of giving her a second chance in life. A chance to walk away from violence and enjoy a bright future. Matilda becoming an assassin would be some Hollywood shit completely ignoring the moral of the original film.

Ummm except it doesn't, because Tony is an asshole and refuses to give it to her the way Leon wanted him to.

I don't think they had simunition the time this move was made. Also simunition has a lot less grain in it that would make you have to significantly compensate aiming very high.

ronie nono it's not a paint ball... it uses real powder, real guns, but the actual bullet is called a stimulation round, it's plastic filled with paint. Like a really accurate painful paintball

Paitball guns are inaccurate as fuck as it is. A fully kitted and upgraded airsoft sniper rifle today wouldnt be able to pull that off. I think they had to use simmuniton.

Closest thing I can reccomdend is a movie called "Ronin" with Robert Deniro. It also casts the guy who plays Leon as a supporting character, who is an assassin for hire. You could think of it as a prequel though it's a different story entirely.

It's her first time shooting, so he taught her the basics. Exhaling while shooting need to be well timed to not ruin the shot, and thus is a more advanced technique. Why would Leon want to teach her advanced complicated stuff? That comes later, when she is comfortable shooting while,holding her breath.
