I don't believe they could be compared as they represent two very different interpretations of types of jazz vocalization. I believe Frank wins for the sexiest male jazz swing style & Diana is surely the best for sexiest female jazz samba style. It's not who does it better, it's a matter of the quality of both musicians & they are BOTH excellent in their styles that they interpret

Diana's voice no doubt is really so beautiful!!! Her rendition of this song is just so perfect!!!!

At this very moment, Diana's interpretation touches me more than Sinatra's, and it's a matter of mood. I play "under my skin" on my harmonica in a way closer to Diana's style, because of the mood that this instrument passes to whom plays and to whom listens.

diana has a soothing voice here, very relaxing, but frank was like a storyteller, I'm imagining what he is singing..

It's all about personal taste dontcha know. Both perform flawlessly in their own style. Can't get enough of Diana's smooth piano riffs.

It's always great to hear two musicians handle a magic song in their own unique way. It is silly to pretend it is some sort of "battle " ! Frank and Dianna each create their own utterly unique sound and styling.

Two different versions Jazz and swing Both Brill. But Frank is something special. Never be replaced.

I love Diana's interpretation. So deliriously luscious.

Frank voice sounds so "alive" as compared to CDs. Diana voice also smooth. In this video you kinda can feel kinda like frank version (starting theme of love drama) that "alive" feel. Diana (ending theme of love drama) that smooth relaxing feel..

Wow what great sound quality gotta love the sound quality of Vinyl, i am biased for i love Diana Krall, for her husky jazz interpretations. Beside she is a great pianist also :)

Love them both! Frank is playing to the large audience, and Diana is seems to be addressing her song to one significant person. Since this is what the song is about, I have to give it up to Diana.

I initially said Frank was the clear winner, but his version can get a little obnoxious when the big band pipes up! Diana tones that shrieking band down and ends up being very smooth and enjoyable.

Mr. S. all the way. His recordings will be relevant forever. Often copied never topped. The trombone solo in the bridge swings so hard. This is a tour de force arrangement with Frank leading the way. Diana Krall, as good as she is, cannot surpass Sinatra in my opinion.

I would love to listen to this through a vintage Yamaha CR-2020 receiver and a pair of Klipschorns.

Too much treble in the brass for Sinatra version and warmth of sound is missing in his voice. That is due to the early recording I presume. I prefer Diana.
