I just love how Bruno is able to so easily join in with the dance, embracing the culture around him while also adding a little bit of his American self at the beginning. You can really tell that his and Kamala's friendship goes back years at this point. This is proof that different cultures can so easily mix if you just give it a chance. 🎉😊

Lol @ Indians & Pakistanis arguing over this, just enjoy the moment, south Asian Muslims in US & Canada, play Bollywood songs at weddings , heck even in Pakistani weddings in Pakistan Bollywood songs are played, never been an issue at weddings they’re played at….I have to emphasise that being a Pak-Canadian, its great to see the representation of Muslims changing here as 2 decades back, considering the situation was much different due to backlash from the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

You can also call it a Bangali wedding. I have got nothing against Indians but if people don't want to call it Pakistani then it would be better to just call it South Asian or Bollywood wedding. You can't blame Pakistanis not being okay with being called Indians. If you meet a Pakistani or someone who was born in Pakistan and you constantly call them Indian, they are going to correct you at some point. At the same time, it is sad that some Indians cannot stand Pakistan gaining positive popularity and it is also sad that despite the fact that we have this show that discusses history that we both share and includes songs and food that we both know, there is still this division between us.

By that logic, every state in India is getting their culture erased in a way because every state has a unique culture. The song is a Bollywood song. And India and Pakistan share cultures in certain regions Indian and Pakistani cultures are like a venn diagram. There's a place where they meet and apparently it's weddings.

when complaining about it not being a indian wedding, the debate is not about both country having some traditions and culture in common, nor it is about the music, it's about the fact that people who take pakistani for indians either do it by mistake whiwh is fine or either keep doing it to be annoying, there is almost some sort of erasure of our country in it sometimes. Also for those mentioning there are other cultures in india but tehy still get called indian, i get what you mean but this is due to them being in the same country, and even there it's always good to precise when one thing is precisely from one region of india when they have a different culture, i take for example the show "never have i ever" where they tend to precise the tamil part of the representation

Kindly don't claim Pakistani culture & customs as Indian. I know, they've used Mika Singh Punjabi Song in the background. But do understand, Pakistanis are 50% Punjabis (110 Million) , so predominantly the culture is Punjabi. Punjabi culture & language is more Pakistani than Indian. The culture they're showing is shared I know. But here, it's Pakistani not Indian. P.S, Indian Punjabis don't wear hijabs.

Relax...bhaijan. Pakistani are basically same people as indian(their forefathers 🤣🤣). Hence Culture ,food, language is the same...even the blood line in case of most of the families that were divided during partition.. Realisation will dawn on you ,"that there is no difference" when u visit both countries.. ...(punjabi, urdu, hijab are on both sides). Right now new age pakistanis' have identity crisis.... They dont knw if they should align with indian ancestary or go with arabic, or turkish.

It's great that they're celebrating Pakistani culture. But I get the feeling that was used as a plot device, with the family being from Pakistan instead of India. They wanted to add more drama to their back story because of Partition. You still see the richness of the Indian culture coming through regardless. I had thought Pakistan an interesting choice because I believe there is still some bad blood between them and India to this day. But now I see it was chosen for the story. As for this being a Paksitani/African wedding, I think the common denominator is that they're both Muslim. There tends to be quite a bit of racism between Indians and Africans in terms of forming relationships. I'm not sure if that's also the case with Pakistani's, but as I said I think the shared religion is part of the reason they ended up together.

I am not a hater. But I think she is not so perfect for this character. Making scenes harsh and dull. When I see other legendary characters and her side by side ,I can notice that she can't even deliver proper joy or dynamicness. In some scenes she is good as family member but in important scenes like fightings, power delivery etc she was not good at all. Her reactions were making her character dull 😑 and lazy.
