When this film was released I had a friend who was a comic nerd and had read all superhero comics out there. And he told me he didn't like this scene because in the original comic Spiderman turned evil when black, whereas in this scene he just turns into an ahole with that dancing.

This scene deserves its flowers because the vibes are absolutely unmatched. The pelvic thrusts, the SLIDE?! Peter saying "shalom?" Ursula happily feeding Peter cookies and scurrying to get milk? The sheer animal magnetism of the man? I was one of the people who made fun of this sequence specifically but I see the light? I atone for my mistakes.
