This is the first video for the new MS Project KZfaq course that I am posting using the most current version of MS Project Professional from the Microsoft subscription using Plan 3 Project Professional desktop client. Content will be suitable for anyone with MS Project 2010 to current versions.
I’m Tom Stephenson a professor of Construction management and I’ve taught MS Project to both students and professional for many years. In this course I plan to build on a sample project that we can create together. Every video will add more tools to your repertoire so that you will be able to create baseline schedules, update and recover them. You will also be able to add and track changes, cost, and productivity rates so that you can be a successful project manager.
I plan to add one video per week and you can follow along by subscribing and clicking the notification icon. I will provide google drive links in the description for start point files as we progress in the course. If there is a specific topic you are after take a look at my other MS Project playlists on my channel.

I just signed up for project 3. I guess they changed to planner? Have u been on this? It's totally different. Would everyone be converting to planner?

Ah i think though when you sign up to project 3 you can download the online MSproject app which has the full power of msproject. Try typing project into your search bar in windows in case it already installed. What is gong to change in the coming months is ai integration.

This take the most current one and it has file links for most videos so you can follow along if you want. MS Project made easy beyond the first 10 videos has more specific and advanced topics as you get better. I’m still adding videos to both playlists.

Have some video on my playlists and I intend to do more. Steve Martin the comedian had a quote that comes to mind “ be so good they can’t ignore you” start in a base level position like project coordinator and keep that quote in mind.
