Claire Danes looked beautiful in this show. The colouring is just all right. I've never seen her go back to the colour red, but she definitely should.

I wish this show would have gone on longer. I think they were slowly evolving Jordan's character. I would have liked to see that change more.

I think alot of times ppl miss out on the point of this scene. Here is this hot bad boy who is very confident with girls and lives this life that Brian can't even wrap his head around because he's not that guy. Yet the one girl who matters to Jordan he can't seem to win over with his cool laid back confidence because she's more than that. I love this scene because the cool guy doesn't always get his way.

Also Jordan explaining to Brian on how the dating scene works. Now why was she mispleased with them finding a common ground is manyfold. For one maybe she wants to sit on both chairs at the same time. Meaning still having Brian "on the backburner" while fooling around with Jordan. Hence she doesn't want Brian brushing off Jordan's "Alpha Chad" (natural or learned) social skills as Brian would then overcome his shyness & also stop SIMPing over or for Angela & find somebody else. Which she already knows from the start. 🤔😎😆 Second reason might be Jordan becoming "less Chadish" by Brian explaining to him "the dangers of unannounced requests of girl's phone numbers." Ok this was the 90s so MeToo wasn't yet in full swing but signs might have been already appearing on the horizon. Less likely but a possible theory. 🤔😕 Third theory is kinda similar to the second one above but with the idea of Brian somehow "brainwashing" Jordan by revealing perhaps intimate moments from either his (platonic) friendship with Angela or secrets from her family life that would embarass her. Selling the idea of supply in the economic sense. His overal nerdish character enforces this notion. So all of this opens doors to the next stage. Jordan just simplified the final goal but initially effectively selling the final act to Brian in the beginning. 😕🤔 Now if you pay attention the girl looks very "studious" (nerdish even) so Brian would actually have a chance with her. Similar energies attract in fact. Him, being an apt pupil would give him chances to start the relationship (in the beginning) soley on safe talks of school activities alone. Then this would gradually move to other topics. If it was some hot blonde chick asking for the pencil then this scene would be overzealous, an abhorrent lie (in terms of Jordan still ssying that to Brian) as he would in fact have no chance with her. So the writters got this scene perfectly right. 😌 As you can also notice is that the girl is sitting alone. So possibly either she is a tutor herself or someone "in need of tutoring". 😉😆
