MSFS 2020 | Instrument Training Flight | Baron G58 | G1000 NXi | KPWM | Leaning the Mixture |

2 жыл бұрынIn this video we take the Baron G58 for a spin in Portland, MA (KPWM) for a Instrument training Flight. We do the departure to a manually flown hold followed by an ILS with a hold in leu of a procedure turn entry. This is followed by an missed approach to a RNAV approach. We do another missed to a hold using OBS on the G1000. We then finish with another RNAV approach. We also take a look at how to lean the mixture on the Baron using the new engine pages on the G1000 NXi.

Pretty cool video since I can't fly my sim cuz I'm at work at least I can watch and learn a bit. That vatlanta app was cool your lines and holds were perfect mine would be squiggly lines all over the place.

No problem, that's what I upload originally but it take a while for KZfaq to process it. IF you watch it before the processing is complete it will be Low Res.

I noticed towards the end of the video here when you armed the approach when you were still in venav that doesn't conflict with one another?

No, it will stay in VNAV until it captures the glidepath for the approach

Minor nit, CHT is cylinder head temperature, not carburetor heat temperature.
