Max out your Cpu's potential in Microsoft flight simulator 2020 by turning off core isolation In Windows 10 and 11. Supported hardware uses a form of virtualization to protect the operating system and your PC from malicious code, isolating certain processes in the PC’s memory. This can also cause a huge bottle neck in your cpu's performance. If you are a business i would not turn this off but hey you shouldn't be playing at work lol.
As long as you have a good anit-virus software I don't feel that this would be an issue for yourself. But if you are concerned it is very easy to turn back on when you are finished your simming session. Lets face it , like I show in the video i can't even turn this on due to a usb device and I have had no issues so far as long as i owned this pc. To test this theory out i asked my friend Dave over at the fbo on discord if he could do some testing for me.
We made sure to use the exact same settings and turned off Live traffic, multiplayer, and turn on clear skys. Loaded in the same airport in the same spot in the same aircraft in the same camera position. The results , well lets say they are amazing you can see for yourself in the video.
