The AutoPilots continue the A320 Type Rating course for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with today's lesson being an important one: Protections and UPRT. As pilots, we must understand what the aircraft is doing at all times, and how to respond to it. Several, high profile accidents involving Airbus aircraft have occurred because the pilots responded incorrectly to an upset situation.
In this lesson, we will explain each protection in normal law, with demonstrations along the way. Then show you the Airbus method for UPRT, which is as follows:
