I just got out of the theater, and yeah. It was pretty good. This movie, it's character designs, and it's artstyle, are so creative and fun. And the story wasn't half bad either.

One of the most romantically, funny Disney Pixar movies ever!!!

I saw the movie with my dad yesterday and it was one of the most emotional movies I've ever seen 😭 🙃

I firmly believe that this will sadly be remembered as one of Pixar's underrated films snd yet it doesn't deserve that

After just seeing this movie, I’m already seeing this eventually being considered as one of Pixar’s most underrated films.

My friend and I went to an advanced screening to see “Elemental” on Wednesday. We both loved it so much, and it even made my friend tear up at the end of it. If you haven’t seen it yet, please do.

I like how this movie was NOT just like Zootopia. The trailers didn't help as they seemed like the movie was going to be focused on Wade and Ember's relationship, but.... that was just a cherry on top of a MUCH grander story that, like the previous movies, tackle generational trauma, in this case the fear of inheritance. This movie takes on the metaphore of immigrants, with the whole of the fire people seemingly taking inspiration from South Asia culture and the famous asian neighborhoods in these huge american cities that gave birth to Chinatown and the Jewish and Palestine districts of New York, to name a few. And again Pixar tackled Generational trauma (which I do hope its the last time, otherwise its gonna get repetitive). Zootopia is more about the symbolism of races and acceptance, and Elemental tackled the "racial issues" veeeery lightly, more like a cherry on top when the whole thing was about Ember's dilemma. Her relationship with Wade was just the breaking point for her emotions to finally resurface properly.

Wow, how clever area all the people who make these amazing movies 😲? The attention to detail in this is blows my mind. I can't wait to see this.

It is actually insane how many people pre judged this movie and won’t watch because it looks “generic” or “cliche”.. We see this lazy, age old argument for why Elemental and other movies people made pre conceived judgement of is a supposed flop. Simple is good. Not everything needs to reinvent the wheel. Heck, even past Pixar “masterpiece” movies are conceptually uninspiring plot wise. - A fish finding his lost son and traveling to Australia? Fighting sharks along the way? - A superhero with marital issues fighting to save both his family and marriage? - A rat learns to cook in Paris in a love story between 2 humans? What is the city of Love? PARIS! - A boy with a single mother (that in itself is extremely cliche) with his favorite toys which gets lost. Said toys desperate to make boy happy again by reuniting with him. “Cliche” and being “generic” is not new. We have always seen this with Pixar movies. I have no issues people disliking or even hating a movie, but when people use “unoriginal”, “generic” or “cliche” as an excuse to trash a movie, I can’t take them seriously. At least use critical thinking. I honestly can’t stand this pick and choose mentality. It drives me insane. Calling any movie a “cliche” is the biggest copout ever!

I love this Pixar movie

I’d love to see Disney and Pixar do animal-based movies including a movie set in Africa that focuses on African wildlife, an anthro animal movie akin to Zootopia and Kung Fu Panda, and other animal-based movies!

Easily a Certified fresh Pixar film

Is the teaser the ONLY one where you found A113? The scene where Amber and Wade meets again before going to the Stadium, there was clearly a office sign that says A113. Also the Elio Easter egg, the Space Club could literally be anything.

I just saw it a few days ago and OMG. It was so cute and dark and funny! It was nice to have a cute love story again!

My grandma loves Elemental more than Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3

I Just got out of the theater at midnight on Saturday central standard time I thought it was an adorable romantic story

I loved how the elements represented the 4 Elements of Spirituality, as opposed to a race allegory. Combined with Soul's All-encompassing Void of Cosmic Energy... the 4 Elements both physically and spiritually comprise the next level of "life's building blocks" which are found in nearly all cultures throughout antiquity, including the Asian culture showcased. I loved how the core message was to "make connections" to treat everybody with respect and integrity, not just on a global-community level, but also the individual/local community, and the Self-spiritual level. Choosing to showcase how parenting styles of structure and freedom can both be equally toxic for a child, even when the parents are still endearing, was just beautiful! Due to unconditional support and love from day 1... Wade never experienced anything truly genuine. Meanwhile, due to her parents self-made success, and selflessness towards the community they literally founded... Ember never once thought of herself, even though her parents never directly imposed anything on her. Ember gave Wade a genuine relationship... Wade showed Ember how to connect with the world around her... they completed each-other, and by the end, Ember proved to herself she was worthy of her parents legacy, who also in turn affirmed their shortcomings in communicating expectations... I'd never cried in a movie before, but goodness that last scene nearly brought me to tears. It's just such a wholesome beautiful story of finding yourself, I just love it!!!

Literally just watched this movie, was great up until the very end. When ember is going off to her internship and she's saying goodbye to her parents and her dad says "don't worry we'll be here, we'll have more time for hanky-panky". 😨 WHAT THE LITERAL F DISNEY MY KIDS ARE WATCHING THIS. so inappropriate. Very very sick. It's for kids and they slip this is?? And my nephew asks me what that means. Sick. Just sick.

something I liked about the film is how they handled the little LGBTQ+ moment. See it's a blink and miss it moment but in the movie when Wade shows off his family he shows his sister and his sister's GIRLFRIEND. Nothing crazy, nothing IN YOUR FACE SHOVED DOWN YOUR THROAT, all it is is just some nice Representation for the community. I am not part of the community but I support them 100%. But I Swear it's like they just HAVE to have it in every FREAKING THING NOW! ALL UP IN OUR FACE, SOME THAT JUST SHOULD NOT HAVE IT(Looking at you CRINGEY Velma and Daphne) AND it's just like...I like a little bit of it all but GIVE US A BREAK! The way Superpets, Nope, & Lightyear, & Elemental handles it with Nothing to bother the plot, nothing all in your face(well maybe Lightyear is all up in faces but not too much) is the way this should be handled. Unless it is What makes or really just helps the plot, all we need is just that little representation, nothing more in every movie, and nothing less. Pixar handled that part PERFECTLY☺ P.S no hate on pride people pls and Happy Pride Month. Be You, and THE BEST YOU.
