How about that one total moron who kept reproducing and had like 10 kids. Then he snarkily tells the judge that one of his baby mama’s was her own daughter. Judge Judy was not amused at all. Then he adds to the stupidity by saying “This is your show but it’s my episode”, all while smirking at her.

Why would anyone suffer second-hand embarrassment over anything? Are you an intimate associate or close relative of any of the parties shown? Were involved in any of the cases? If not, why should/would YOU feel embarrassed? I've never understood how strangers can feel embarrassment over something that someone else does, being idiotic.

Number one and two are the funniest! But the most heartwarming is the one with with the stolen dog that, when it’s let into the courtroom, runs straight to it’s true owner 😁🥰🥰

The most heart-wrenching episode of the entire series is the stolen dog that, when let into the courtroom, ran straight to the thief. Jerk Judy awarded the dog to the thief because he had bonded with him longer than he had with the 10-year-old boy he was stolen from. When the boy broke out in full tears, Jerk Judge awarded him money and told his parents to go out and buy him another dog. Any time someone posts that episode, the producers are quick to yank it down within minutes. It has to stand as Jerk Judy's most glaring embarrassment of her entire career of being a wise-ass bully.

Interestingly, in her whole theatrics, she gestures imitating what the landlord would have been doing. Usually, when recounting a story that really happened to you, your gestures are more from your own point of view at the time. That's a very good indicator of a fabricated story.

Judges aren't completely exempt. They have things called canons of ethics, or codes of conduct they must pledge to uphold. Jerk Judy could never be licensed in California because she can't control her temper. On TV it's OK but California has stricter rules of professionalism than New York has, from where she was hatched, and where she was free to spout off her filthy mouth for years before someone decided she could be a movie star at $49 million a year.

My husband and I went for a court case in Waco, TX, about 25 years ago, for a speeding ticket. The traffic violation cases that the judge had to listen to that day were laughable. The excuses had us chewing the insides of our mouths to avoid laughter in the courtroom. What people thought they were justified in was appalling. I was headed to Austin for a state board exam, when I was delayed by two accidents in Dallas. I had left my home in plenty of time anticipating one delay but not 2. I had to be in the facility by 9a or risk paying the fees for the test a second time. I was rushing to get there on time when I was stopped for speeding in Waco, TX. When I appeared for my case, I had all of my paperwork, money order stub, test date and anything I could think of that the judge might ask for. He was tough. He asked me how I pleaded, and I said Guilty with a reasonable explanation. He dropped his pen on the desk and said, lets hear this. I told him my reason for being in the area, the circumstances of my delay, and showed him my evidence (that I had almost thrown away). He looked over my evidence. Asked me if I had ever taken a driving course, I told him not since high school, I didn't usually speed. He dismissed my case. My husband was in shock.

I just saw an interview with Byrd and his wife, and he was asked why is he not on her new Judy Justice. He said, we are still friends, but after 25 years on the show plus the years he spent as her bailiff in Manhattan's Children's Court, it was time to seek other professional avenues. That is another thing, you do not mess around with Judy when it comes to children. I heard her once say that the mother is not the one who is always entitled to custody of the children during a divorce. The father has parental rights as well. If the father can provide a much better life than his ex-wife can, then more power to him. I also feel the same way if the shoe is on the other foot.

I love Judge Judy. Some of the arguments are hilarious. "My dog was off it's leash, I wasn't watching it and it got hit by a car. It's the plaintiffs fault!", "It was the childs fault my unleashed dog, who had bit 3 people before, bite them". But what baffles me is when they claim loans are a gift... who has $2500 to freely give away?

I just started so Idk if it's there, but it absolutely should - a young couple what had an argument on the road and the gilr ran to a lady in another car for shelter. The guy had such a meltdown after the verdict and her telling him to shut up was just icing in the cake 😂

There's a very famous quote that I'm going to paraphrase. It's better to remain silent and have people think you're a fool than it is to open your mouth and remove all doubt. End of rant lol.

What some people call "stupid moments" is another person's "comedy gold". On the last case, I'd have awarded $500 to the plaintiff and thanked the defendant for giving me the biggest belly laugh of the season.

First of all: thank you for NOT calling case #1 "Judge Judy's Shortest Case," because it isn't. Some of the "honorable mentions" I'd add: - Early case, plaintiff is a day-care provider who is suing because defendant removed her child from the plaintiff's day care. Plaintiff gets irritated with JJ's questions, starts talking back and JJ yells, "I'M SPEAKING!" Plaintiff: "SO?" JJ: "Case is dismissed." - Plaintiff enters courtroom wearing hat, JJ asks her to remove the hat and she refuses. JJ dismisses the case without prejudice and sends plaintiff packing without hearing one word of the case. - Defendant is being sued for damaging her ex-boyfriend's car with, among other things, a flower pot. Defendant sinks her case by repeating over and over that no one SAW her do it. Kicker comes when defendant says that plaintiff's car was already a lemon and didn't stop working "because of what I di - I mean, what he says I did to it." Judgment for the plaintiff, not surprisingly. - Plaintiff tried to evict the defendants from a vacant lot from which they were selling flowers, and openly admitted to pulling out a gun and firing over their heads after he called the police and the police neglected to evict them. JJ calls him a moron and tells him he should be hiding under a rock and not suing them. Plaintiff's case dismissed, defendants win on counterclaim for emotional distress. - Any case where litigants openly threaten each other in court, i.e. the unhinged girl who had her lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend dismissed and yelled at him on her way out of court, "You are so HIT when we get home!" Sounded like a death threat to me, and not smart to have that on tape for the whole world to see in case something happens to the defendant. - The "hop on the car" guy who damaged the plaintiff's car when he did just that after she offered him a ride, and then said he wasn't responsible because the plaintiff told him to "hop on." JJ was merciless with him - when she found out he worked in a bank, she said that if he worked at her bank, she'd withdraw all her money from that bank immediately.

A few I remember... -The 21-year old "Fresh Mouth" who claimed to have ten children with "about four" different women, including Judge Judy's daughter, "just a joke" because this may be Judge Judy's show, but it's his episode. -The guy, who was being sued for defacing property, refused to give Judge Judy names about who else was involved repeating "That's irrelevant!" to the point that Judge Judy was prepared to withhold his plane ticket home for uncooperativeness. -The lady who sued her overweight friend for breaking her toilet, by simply sitting on it. -The lady who damaged her friend's car hood by sitting on it, even going as far as to claim this was normal thing for them to do. -The man who wouldn't stop justifying his son's throwing a chair at a passing car, simply because the driver was going too fast, to the point that Judge Judy almost had to get Byrd involved to shut him up.

I almost crashed a car from a drunk garbing the wheel. My ex. So glad they are an ex and out of my life. I also was hit in the face as I was driving as well when they were drunk. I didn't drink as I knew how bad of a drunk they were that I know it wouldn't be safe for them to drive. It was their car but they were so intoxicated. Once they threw their phone at the car windshield because I wouldn't give them the keys when they were drunk. Another time they had a spare key and they jumped in and started flying down the road speeding thru the city of Harrisburg PA. And before I was with this person they took their ex's band new car and told them they were going to wrap it around a poll. They did it and ended up in the hospital and had to have both of their longs reinflated with chest tubes. This person also called the police saying I was abusing them when I wasn't. Once they were on the phone screaming for help as i was on the front porch sitting just to be away from their drunken A#@. They were calling a friend. Their friend told me I need to get away from them before they get me arrested or something. Another time they slammed their arm thru a door and cut themselves as They were like I want my Jason and I was like he left and he isn't coming back. I'm Jason by the way. Another time they slammed the back door and the glass weather door made it fairly air tight and it caused the rear window in the door to bust and when it popped glass came back in on them and cut their ear. Of course I was being blamed for it. I was sitting on a patio chair on the back porch on the other side. The best think I ever did was break up with them and move out of the area. The relationship was so bad that after 11 years I was so happy to be single and I been single ever since. and that was back in 2011. I am still happily single.

Imagine a world where the judge tells you that you...the leading candidate for president...are not allowed to speak about the trial you are on in your own defense of your public image. I mean are you really braindead enough to think there is legitimacy to those contempt charges? His violation was continuing to campaign... Your side keeps behaving as though there is not a reckoning coming...
