This show wouldn't be half as good if the producers didn't use Nina, Ian, or Paul as the main cast. No offense to the actors that didn't make the cut, but I just can't picture anyone else playing Elena, Damon or Stefan. They really played their roles well. I just can't imagine what this show would have been like if the producers choose Ashley Tisdale as Elena.
