Pinocchio has always been Guillermo Del Toro's passion project. He has been trying to get that film made for a decade to the point it got cancelled because no studio wanna fund it, then Netflix came by and brought it back. After seeing the movie, I gotta say that Del Toro has made his dream come true for a great Pinocchio movie. Congrats to him 🙌

I would give Puss In Boots The Last Wish the number 1 spot. All of the characters are great. The animation is beautiful. The wolf being the symbol of death is one of the best villains I’ve seen on screen. The message of mortality and how you should live your life to the fullest is heartwarming. The emotions in this film are great. This was one of the best movies I’ve ever watched.

‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ is now my 2nd most favorite DB movie. Akira Toriyama, and the entire voice acting cast and crew of TOEI Animation did a fantastic job together. 😁

I adore "Turning Red", it discusses puberty and periods in a matter of fact way, plus I love the friendship between the four girls, it really makes the movie. 🥰

i never found myself liking turning red, i usually found myself cringing and rolling my eyes at Mei. Oh and the stripper music joke felt extremly out of place and crass.

Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio is a masterpiece for me. The best Pinocchio movie since the Disney animated movie. It puts Disney itself to shame on their live action movie that they released back in September. It's time for a non Disney movie to win an Oscar for Best Animated Feature next year especially for a stop motion movie

I enjoyed Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers. I honestly didn’t see the cartoon show as a kid but my brother and sister did. In my opinion, it was fun and action packed with great crossovers

I am beyond glad Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio is #1! This was a film I have been waiting for over 9 years to see, and the result was well worth the long wait. It's a gorgeous masterpiece. It also is one of the most beautiful movies that I've ever witnessed in my life. This film has now become one of my all time favorite movies, and I'm sure that it will be known as an instant classic in the next few years.

Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio should easily win Best Animated Feature in many categories. Often times Disney movie won Oscars when they're released by the end of the year as it is Oscar season but Strange World didn't do well both press and box office so it gives Del Toro's Pinocchio a chance to win next year. Really enjoyed DC League of Super Pets. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart as the funny dog duo was hilarious. Not to mention the villain Lulu, is a great non-Disney villain

Seriously, when you put Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart in the same cast, you're bound to get a hilarious movie. The Jumanji sequels are a prime example of that.

@@RealSirMikay yeah those two are a combo made in heaven.🤣😅DC League of SuperPets was definitely a lot of fun and Lulu was a great character. ^^ Both those Jumanji movies are freaking hilarious. I also would love to give a shout out to Jack Black because he played Bethany in the first film so well. When she was trying to figure out how to use the restroom I was dying on the floor lol😂

Turning Red is my favorite animated movie of 2022 because I'm a Canadian and seeing the country of Canada and the classic tamagotchi toy I played as a kid growing up in the early 2000s made me feel so happy and nostalgic 😁👏🏻👧🏻🤗

"Turning Red" is a relatable and realistic coming of age story *done right* . I'm so glad Pixar went for a mature subject matter, instead of this being the generic "just be yourself" story about Mei being a nerdy underdog kid with no friends who gets bullied by the popular kids and magically becomes a hero with the power of love, or whatever

I only just saw puss in boots mere hours ago and it was an absolute blast! Definitely my favourite animated movie of 2022 alongside the bad guys which also released earlier this year. I just hope they can keep the momentum going with trolls 3 coming out next year, the only dreamworks movie releasing in 2023 I should say. As well as kung fu panda releasing in 2024 as well.

For me its Rise of the Teenage Mutnan Ninja Turtles: The Movie and Bad guys. Those two blew me out of the water with their gorgeous animation and incredible story.

2022 had a great year for animated films! My favorite was Lightyear, it was such a great origin story of Buzz Lightyear!! I cannot wait to see what 2023 has in store!!

GDT's Pinocchio is easily my favorite, but there have been so many good ones this year: Marcel the Shell, Entergalactic, The House, and Turning Red were all terrific movies

Disappointed the Bad Guys isn't on here, despite clips and mentions being about it. The movie was really good, though predictable, it really had its moments and was funny. Its one of those movies like Sing, I'm able to go back to and simply enjoy.

Puss in boots the last wish was genuinely one of the best movies I had ever seen. I have watched it three times, and it would be an absolute tragedy if it doesn’t do well in the box office. If you haven’t seen it, please do. If you don’t believe me when I say it’s good, believe the loads and loads of positive reviews on all media praising the amazing movie. It genuinely surprised me so much because I did NOT expect it to be that good.

Exactly. I wasn't expecting it to be very good with how bad the first Minions movie was. But to my surprise, it was great, and it got an over 70% critical approval on Rotten Tomatoes.

As the animated movie first of the year, I love Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is a favorite of mine. KZfaqr Star Brian Hull voices Dracula and seeing the monsters turn into human is flat out funny

I like STRANGE WORLD and the honorable mentions of LIGHTYEAR and THE BOB’S BURGERS MOVIE. I also love WENDELL & WILD, CHIP ‘N DALE: RESCUE RANGERS, TURNING RED, GUILLERMO DEL TORO’S PINOCCHIO, and the honorable mention of THE BAD GUYS. PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH isn’t in theaters yet as of this comment, but it looks way better than the first movie. Also, why were CHIP ‘N DALE in the Emmys when they could be in the Oscars? It’s not a television movie, it’s a streaming movie. Does that mean WENDELL & WILD, TURNING RED, and PINOCCHIO are also television movies?

This is just my opinion, But number 1 should be, or at least my number 1 is without question "The Bad Guys". The story is great, the voice performances are strong, and it's in my opinion,... Dreamworks Best Animated Film Of All Time.

Hey MsMojo. I'm glad Dragon Ball Super got an honorable mention, but there were more great anime movies this year. I highly recommend "Inu-Oh" or "One Piece: Red". Both are definitely worth the watch.
