FACTS: "The Trump hush money case is underway in New York. Of all legal cases against Trump, this one is the weakest and most absurd of all. It involves an alleged misdemeanor on which the statute of limitations has already expired, in conjunction with another alleged misdemeanor on which the statute of limitations has also expired, both part of an alleged election interference conspiracy that other courts have already said isn’t a crime. Trump has been outrageous about bypassing the normal process and just arbitrarily pardoning his cronies, and ordinary crims who had tons of $ they could pay him. But he refused preemptive pardons to his Jan 6 co-conspirators, I guess because it would point to his own guilt. Pardons can be attacked as invalid if they covered crimes he was involved in.
