I was a lifelong republican evangelical. I listened to AM radio, Rush Limbaugh etc., and began to develop that mindset of republicans are good, democrats are bad or evil. Then Trump showed up and I noticed something was wrong with him. Trump has been a trainwreck in slow motion, taking the republican party with him. So sad.

We finally quit flying the flag when someone left us a message chiding us for being Trumpers. Our beautiful flag has been co-opted for a nefarious movement. We live in an area of many immigrants and minorities and I do not want my neighbors to think we are against them. Hopefully, one day soon, it will again mean what it did before this disaster.

I know DJT has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, what I wonder about is if his followers are mostly NPDs also. It would explain so much. The need to blame someone else, the refusal to accept facts and instead live in a false reality, the obsessive focus and so many other things. What makes people follow a man with a clear mental pathology??? It is a mass delusion and it needs to be understood. I have not seen ONE of his followers when questioned be able to provide an answer with ANY logic. The answers are always quoting a line from DJT that can be shown to be a lie. His lies have got simpler and easier to disprove. At first he would make a statement that took some time to research and disprove. Now the lies are clearly lies the moment he speaks them. His explanation does make sense though. It helps to explain why half the country is living in crazy town. I wouldn't find myself engaging my family with questions to help them realize they have been duped. It would be likely that I would get out maybe one question and then I would have to spend the rest of the time hearing their "answer" for an hour. Easter in Ohio with the family was this way. They loved Trump and hated Beyonce. It was rough. I am grateful for this video and for Joy Reid.
