I don't know if all of that amounts to "expensive lawyering", when we're dealing with a person KNOWN for stiffing people on the bill. More likely, he'll only pay his legal defense in the circumstance that he "wins", if not, he'll likely default to known behavior and stiff them on the bill as well. It saddens me that there is such a large sector of this country duped into financially backing this deplorable human being.
