@@yvonneplant9434 Kamala Harris announced her presidential candidacy in the Summer of 2019... but ended up dropping out of the race in December of 2019, as her campaign had run out of money. Her ratings were extremely low among the Democratic candidates, and she stopped campaigning even before the very first Primary in 2020.

@@user-lg9tr5vz9d well I know that’s a lie, because I just saw 4 of the countries top economist explain that Trumps tariffs, and economic plan would destroy America within 6 months. And his promise to eliminate income tax would cost us a 100% of every tariff he put on each country, causing 100% inflation. While they see few exceptions, but a very healthy economy under Biden’s plan benefiting everyone who makes less than 450k a year, because anyone making less than 450k will not see a tax increase at all. See, only MAGA are gullible enough to believe that kind of BS, just because someone said it. Most of us actually seek out the evidence, like straight outta the horses mouth, and data. We do not just take someone who’s a proven liar’s word for it, just because they said it. And I hope you don’t either.

Everyone knows that you can always find something that a politician didn't do. What we should focus on is what she did. And I don't mean just this week, just this year, I mean over her lifetime. As VP, she has championed a number of issues. She is part of the administration who can say their policies helped turn around the economy. The economy in the USA is chugging along, with good results all across the board. As for the border, which Trump has incited his followers about, for years, including his bogus plan to build a wall, his friend Steve Bannon is facing fraud charges. When it comes to border security, the Democrats presented a plan that was quickly turned down by the Republicans. Why? They turned it down because Trump didn't want Joe Biden to get the credit for "fixing the border." Being a racist and a hater, Trump would prefer to have a large deportation of migrants, to make a spectacle of them. His hateful comments, including that migrants are poisoning the blood in the USA, is extremism at its worst. In a world where our differences are our strength, Trump demonizes everyone who does not fit his "idea" of 'being white enough." He is not fit to be the President of the "United" States, and he is trying to break the country.

I keep seeing many historians talking about Biden, while ignoring the past presidents. Biden was a jock who has kept care of his body and is healthier than many people of younger age. History shows us the office of the president is covered, if the president isn't able to perform his duties and the administration chosen is more important than the individual as president. Both political parties put way too much emphasis on the person who is president and not the policies and their ramifications. Enough of the popularity contest, try examining issues!

Nixon didn't think he was immune and nobody thought evidence couldn't be used against them because it was produced in an 'official' capacity. People calling this hyperbolic are missing the point. Trump already proved he wants to hang on to power, he already tried to put in place fake electors to do that, he already interfered with the justice department, handed out pardons, and tried to strong arm a foreign government into giving dirt on his opponents. He couldn't be impeached because he surrounds himself with loyalists who don't care about the rule of law, just about him. The idea that at no time in the future anyone would abuse this newfound not co equal ruling, is lunacy. If there's enough evidence to convict anyone, whether Joe Biden, Donald Trump, or the Pope, the law should apply.

personal opinion here. I THINK that Joe is staying in to keep incumbency benefits for the ticket. IF he succeeds in holding the white house, he will step down before term, in favor of Harris. maybe a week after inauguration, maybe two years in. But I think he will step down if he defeats trump again, after sworn in.

Even if President Biden needs to go to Sleep at 9 PM, starts work at 10 AM and takes a 2 hour break in the afternoon, he would still work more efficiently than Trump. Trump spending half the night tweeting and taking up work late, golfing as often as possible. Give Biden his time to rest and regenerate and he will do his job with a good team around him.

I am all for President Harris. I was set to vote for her in the primary in 2020 but she'd dropped out before she got to my state. That said - I voted for Biden in the primary this year. He is the one I chose. I would rather not have the DNC do a shell game and substitute someone I did not vote for as the nominee. Plus I find this hysteria in the media over one poor debate performance to be wrong. Biden has a history of being rather well kept for his age. He did 90 minutes of a bad performance in a debate format that was difficult to deal with - 2 minutes to discuss complex issues was not great. And Biden, for all his poor performance, was making points that made some sense as opposed to a Trump that was literally lying at a higher rate than normal. I find this ageism in the media to be atrociously wrong.
