How to enable #developer mode with #OBDeleven in VW MIB2 Discover Media and Composition Media #MST2 infotainment system. This will give you access to hidden test mode, diagnostic data, green engineering menu and other interesting options.
ℹ️ You will need OBDeleven app for iOS or Android, OBDeleven dongle, PRO or ULTIMATE license.
🛒 OBDeleven: mr-fix.info/red...
💻 Now, you can connect with the vehicle and select module 5F.
Change service from diagnostic to developer and go back.
Select adaptation and find developer mode.
Switch it to active and save new value
Disconnect from the vehicle.
Press and hold volume control knob for 10 seconds to reboot the system.
Now press and hold MENU button and you will notice new testmode option which gives you access to more interesting stuff.

Hi! actually i have a OBD Basic and want to enable develepor mode. But it seems to be necessary taht i should upgrade to Pro PAck. I wan to ask if only 10 Credits to have enough to enable the develepor mode or must i upgrade to Pro Pack? Thanks

Yes, but you will have to pay for 10 credits to use the one-click-app that enables developer mode.

Please be aware, you may not have testmode menu as an option in service mode even after doing this. I have a MIB2/MST2, but its a PQ version, not ZR (I have a 2016 Scirocco). If this the case hold the Menu button for about 8-10 seconds for Testmode Menu, as opposed to the 3 seconds for Service Menu. You'll see service menu first, and then testmode after.

Is it possible to activate developer mode with Odis? I tried it and even with entering the 5F Module successfully with 20103 code, the adaptation and changing the developer mode to active was denied by Odis. Was Golf 7 GTI 2018.

Is there a way to change the font in the system? I have some songs which use unicode characters in the name. The system tries to show the characters, but they only appear as squares. This is a sign that the system works with unicode. But the font is wrong. They just installed a non-unicode font instead of a real unicode font. It is an easy fix, if the font can be replaced.

@@MIBhelper Will it give me any benefit? because i have actiavted the developer mode but didnt find any advantages of doing it.. cuz as far as i understand my unit requires emmc soldering anyway to patch it..

You don't need OBDeleven to do that at all. But if you are getting one, pick the PRO pack.

You have a Delphi unit. There's no toolbox for it (not yet anyway). What do you want to do?
