Season 8 host segments were easily the best! easily better than the movies they showed. so much creativity in every sketch! Crow T. Robots Civil War documentary, The trial of Mike Nelson, Professor Bobo as a simple country lawyer! Comedy GOLD!

Well it was fun going through the Season 8 story arc. Some I recognize instantly from watching Space Mutiny and Overdrawn at the Memory Bank several times, but the most important one is Horror at Party Beach, the first episode I saw.

I love this. This is a season that was lost on me, because it was the year I moved away from home and didn't have a tv with channels. Occasionally, when I'd get to see MST3K, it looked more visually interesting and moody. Mike's acting is really great in this season and it's cool to see what they did with the SciFi (yes, spelled that way in the mid 90's) channel's direction that they have a plot for the host segments.

You know, I don't think they ever explained what pulled the crew, who were pure energy at this point, back to the ship in the first place.
