brooo I lived in Bend a long time and the summit was the best...I never got to summit Hood. This really brings me back. I'm jealous

How did those mountaineering boots work with your snowboard bindings? I’m planning my first summit of Hood and want to board down. I was thinking I’d just add crampons to my snowboard boots since I’ll likely go up Old Chute or PG’s. Curious what you recommend.

They definitely don’t work as well with a snowboard as they do with a pair of crampons but they work. I think snowboard boots will work fine.
