Damn only 1 round?! That's brutal. I would've loved to see these guys go at it for at least 3 rounds. FSS is notorious for keeping popping rounds short.

Poppin C did great and had immaculate technique. Here's why MT Pop beat him: - MT Pop had groove that matched with the song. Groove is rare in popping and it always wins the audience over. - MT Pop's energy matched the song - upbeat and playful - it made the judges and audience feel good and connected with him. Poppin C was stony faced the entire time and looked like he was trying really hard. MT Pop looked like he was just jamming out at the club. Effortless. - great technique, perhaps not as good as Poppin C in this round but good enough - creativity - he wasn't just doing moves - it felt as it was freestyle and went with the vibe of the song. Poppin C's moves could have gone with any song. it's a shame that these two faced each other so early

@@kermitthefrogg123 Nope it's my opinion.The comment section is here for a reason otherwise they should have just closed it. Am I wrong in what I said? Was MT Pop not more groovy?Did the audience look like they enjoyed MT Pop's round better? Was MT Pop not creative? Did his round not go with the song? Did he not show more character? Where was I wrong? If Popping C's round was better why did MT Pop win?

@@preciousnunique great analysis brother. looking at mt pop it was easy to tell that it was his 'song'. Felt like a clear win for him since i felt like Poppin C couldn't hold up his own against mt pop in terms of creativity and groove after the first 20 seconds.still, Would have loved to see these 2 juggernautz go t it for atleast 3 rounds

Interestingly, Nelson has gone against MT POP, and Nelson usually goes for more groovy and song-matching dancers, putting aside creativity. It feels like MT POP won this because of his creativity, not for the groove. Even seemed like Popping C was both more technical and groovy a little bit, but was hugely lacking creativity

You can see where MT Pops hip hop groove benefits him in battles, he's able to use that hip hop groove with his popping. Haven't seen many other poppers really using the hip hop groove with their popping except for maybe Hozin, Gator & Nelson... But how do you judge it? is it hip hop with popping or is it popping with hip hop? that's a tough one for the judges to decide here.

Popping C is more like doing his battle routine in comparison with Mt pop, his moves are cleaner tho.

Poppin C took that for me. He hits so hard and so clean. I thought it wasn't even close.

Popping is not just hitting, go read about popping styles, if this the case then Jaygee for example shouldn't even bother battling. Popping C doing is like doing a choreo, MT Pop is grooving

@@imkotable Agree, it's not just about hitting. But I think Poppin C bested him in most areas. His footwork and difficulty of his moves was also better. Just my opinion, clearly not a popular one though.

I know but MT Pop was fully in sync with the actucal song music and lyrics. You can put any song on Poppin C round and he'll on beat. The feel for music will always beat anything. Anyone nowadays can pop but the feel is what makes the difference. @@birh
