There’s plenty to do in Georgia, so we decided to take a trip to Mtatsminda Park Tbilisi. We first went to Liberty Square, in the centre. Then onwards to the funicular railway to ascend to the peak.
Unfortunately we picked one of the coldest days to go up there, but the views over the city were amazing. A ticket on the Tbilisi funicular railway costs 7 lari per person, this includes a card for entry to the park.
At the top there’s a restaurant, cafes and an old Soviet theme park. The rides look quite dated but locals seem to enjoy it. At night, the TV tower and Ferris wheel light up.
