Hello Ashish sir. Have been following you since last year. I have few questions to ask. I passed out from ece branch in 2019 and took a drop for gate but couldn't clear it though in 2020. Anyhow I got into bit mesra through its own exam. And taking drop again for gate will definitely put pressure and my aim is to do mtech and not PSU. I belive if mtech is only motive then taking another drop and then doing mtech for 2 year (if I get any iit)is too much, would love your views on it.

Hi Ashish. for students who have financial issues, is doing a Ph.D. in top IITs alright? I mean what is the chance of getting to teach in the same institute and doing a Ph.D. both at the same time and is it wise to choose it over placements when the students needs to financially help his family.

For ECE must do Mtech for better package and exposure .... IIIT Delhi has tremendous placement which is far far better than PSU in term of package, core design, exposure, believe me Avg package is 16-18 lakh for ECE .... so those days are gone where PSU has only name.

Sir today the supreme court announced that final year (8th sem) exams would have to conducted, they cannot be cancelled. We do not know in which month the exam would be taken. Also due to a large gap of about 5 months , we are unable to retain most of the semester syllabus. Hence we will definitely have to do it again.
