@@johnnysidea yes it's pretty straightforward. Unscrew like 8 hex bolts holding the motor on, then unplug 3 phase wires and 1 control wire from mobo. theres a russian mten4 dissasembly video I watched on youtube. If your thinking about getting the mten4, get it. It's an absolute blast to ride, and master its small size

It's seriously a "do it all wheel". Beginners could start on it... its not the easiest tho. And advanced riders (like chooch) still have an absolute blast on it! It's a wheel you won't get bored with, really. It has its own niche that bigger wheels just can't do. I got mine by emailing begode themselves. I hear you on the popped tube. Putting a new tub in my V12HT tomorrow. I buy most of my wheels from eWheels. He has been pretty good to me over the last 8 years. My first wheel was a KS14c which was like riding a toaster. Wheels have come a long way. Have you opened up the Mten4 yet? Do you think the light or top plastic peace needs extra protection? I saw some people putting extra 3D printed rings around the lights and side pieces at the top for protection. I like the look of it as is so I would rather not. Is the wheel pretty robust?

@knifesketch101 the thing is an absolute tank. The stock ring around the headlight protrudes over the light, and easily replaceable. The tail light is easily replaceable as well, but is also protected by a protruding metal frame. I did, however, just purchase front and rear bumper padding for it from Grizzla, more for the visual asthetic 😆 I'm getting really comfortable in this wheel, I'm gunna purchase some jump pads, too

@@TheBergManJust got the Mten4. Very fun little wheel! Glad to get a Mten4 wheel back after selling my mten3. I noticed you have some padding on the side if your wheel. I’m definitely having side shin pain when mounting. Does this foam help with that. I’m sure it’s just an adjustment period. Just wondering if you are getting leg pain or if you have adjusted to that. Thanks!

@@knifesketch101 of yea. My shins were tender after the first ride. So I put some padding on the sides, but really, your shins will just get used to it really quickly

I am a motocross, skateboarding, downhill longboarding adrenaline junkie. I've crashed going 50mph+. I understand risk and I think riding 25kmh or less is fine for ME PERSONALLY (haha) to only wear a helmet. How safe do we need to be? Should I wear a helmet and pads when I go jogging? I could easily slip down some stairs or something. Or driving my car? We should honestly be wearing full head gear when driving, but we don't! Haha measure the risks and make an assessment for yourself. To me, road rash is just an inconvenience. To others, it may hinder your life for a few weeks. A hard fall for me might result in bruises; but broken bones for others.

Weird... I rode mine on the beach, in the water and have taken it down stairs and off huge ledges 😆 I must've gotten a good one. Hope you have better luck, my man. I'd be heartbroken if this little guy buckled on me
