The suicide BS sounds like an obsessed ex that threatens suicide and just needs to face the facts that life isn't going play out exactly like they wish. If he's under 18 then it's child abuse point blank and the parents, teachers and any doctors that enable these life altering, permanent procedures need to be in prison with the pedos. If he's 18 and wants to hack himself up, fine, but kids want and do dumb 💩 when they're young. I skipped school, did whatever drugs were available, drove 100mph+ drunk, had unprotected sex up into my mid 20's and some of those things even longer. I regret those decisions and they could've easily been life altering or life ending but that lifestyle wasn't supported by my parents and teachers either. Taking hormones and having voluntary surgeries that are irreversible WILL NOT fix whatever's going on inside their head like some chores, a little responsibility and some hard work would because they would be accomplishing things. They would have satisfaction and gain confidence in their abilities because of their accomplishments. It doesn't have to be cutting down trees, fixing cars or things commonly thought of as masculine. It could be styling hair, painting nails, etc. When the reality hits that they'll have a lifetime of doctors appointments and repeated surgeries to keep the wound open, trying to get pee to come out, a basket full of pills and a lot of never ending pain and suffering that could've been avoided or worse, they grow up and change their mind and want to go back to normal but it's too late, they'll be more likely to actually commit suicide than just threatening it. The problem is they will never totally be what they want to be. He can never have children, feel the real feeling of sex, a female orgasm or have a genuine period. He will never know what it's like to really be a woman because they can't replace all the y chromosomes with X's, they can't surgically make the parts to feel and/or function properly yet. Until that day it will all be pretend and dating options will be next to nothing. I promise the suicide rate will jump exponentially from pre-op to post-op. You'll see.

I agree! People are surely giving up their fertility! Not to mention that HRT puts lots of stress on the reproductive system, impacting physical and mental health! Plus, it is expensive to do HRT! If we keep this up, humanity might not be able to reproduce as much as we did before! If the average fertility drops below 1.5 children per couple, we would probably be doomed! Surely, we can have robot babies, but this will only call for an Advance and Be Mechanized scenario, where AI takes over the world, and plus, robot babies can never give as much love as human babies, especially blood-bound human babies! 🗿

What's sickening is you sticking your nose in somebody else's life.

This will be a new tax 10/15 years from now to help them all transition back or simply care for them when the $ runs out and life isn't all rainbows and happiness like they've been told. The medical bills, pills and visits to keep the wound open for life will be astronomical. Dating will be dangerous because I'm 18 to 80 blind crippled or crazy but if I get fooled by a man I'm gonna flip!
