@@David_Stevens It's the most popular of the four decks, so I'm not surprised that it would be worth the most out of the four. However, it's going to be hysterical, if the Eldrazi deck follows the same pattern as the previous three revealed decks. Folks better hope there's a Jeweled Lotus or a Mana Crypt in that deck, otherwise it's probably just $180 of scrap.

also gonna pass on these decks. it's a big f-u to the player base. the few new cards itself are okay as well some of the reprints (like mangara or Starfield of Nyx)

Battlebond was possible but it is in the set so Wizards probably wants people to get the precons and if they need some of the good cards that work well with it then they need to get the singles or crack some packs. Such as doubling season for the enchantment deck or Eldrazi with Ulamog and kozelik

Or heck, do what the Planeswalker deck did and give use the Filter lands instead of the temples. Those are at least worth a couple bucks a piece

Pass for me as well i own all the good reprints besides sunborn courcer and was honestly suprised the dryad was so expensive considering its cut from most decks. Double land drop is nice provided you actually have lands

I can't justify spending a 100$+ or more on ANY of these decks. I don't give a fuck, about the estimated value on these newer cards that are in the decks like Slivers or the eldrazi. All of the prices are going to eventually drop like a rock. Look at the cards from Universes Beyond Warhammer 40k. All of those decks were extremely pricey at launch and a little time afterward, and now look at them. extremely cheap to buy for the singles and around 65$ if you just want to buy the decks.

Yeah. Even at $40 or $45 that feels like a max. I bought a couple LotR precons and those felt too expensive at $65.

yeah...that card seems absolutely busted. Not having a once per turn limit is nice, but wow. With how easy it is to flood the board with enchantments, you can ramp out of control so quickly. At least it isn't an enchantment itself.

You can only populate creature tokens tho(so you will no be able to populate paralell liver over and over). Is still pretty powerful. I will say this deck asks for some populate like the nesting dovehawk.

Same. I use Queen Marchesa as my enchantress commander and it’s really cool. I played against a Sythis deck recently and it was boring… one drop enchantment tribal with a couple big payoffs, the player took these long durdly turns… better to have an impact.

yep i hate every sythis deck i've seen but i don't even run removal, just boardwipes. i'm fine not getting my engine going until past turn 6-7 when it matters but before people realize i'm the biggest threat.

These are completely different decks, Alela is an esper token spam artifact deck that you can run as a copium enchantress deck, and Anikthea is an enchantment self-mill reanimation deck. They play completely differently and have significantly different game plans. I genuinely don’t get your comparison besides the fact they both have the word enchantment on them.

​@@Aphidae I'm pointing out how terrible the card is. Especially for $85 price tag for the deck. She isn't special, she's extremely slow. There are just other commanders that have this theme and that do it better. Especially since she doesn't even have the mechanic built into her to mill cards. How are you going to make a deck that relies on the GY, and not even give the commander a mill ability? That's absolutely terrible. I'm comparing her to Alela because Alela isn't even enchantress, but she does it better than this card. How are they going to make an esper fairy better than an actual enchantress? That's the comparison. If you're going to play enchantments, might as well play Alela, Sythis, or literally anything else.

Best comparison is either estrid due to ult or a anchantment version of myrkull

@@arsenicwafers7536 I’ve played Alela and I seriously doubt that the decks would look or play at all comparable, btw Meren, who has been one of the premier graveyard decks since her debut in 2015, doesn’t have a mill ability, mtg players nowadays are so spoiled by having every card being the setup and the payoff. She reanimates an enchantment on etb and on attack that’s an insane amount of value you can generate, and mana you can cheat. The only commander whose archetype is even remotely comparable is Ghen, who you didn’t even bring up. Also the card isn’t $85 the precon is, you can get a copy of Anikthea for $5 on card kingdom right now and I sincerely doubt that price will go anywhere but down since she’s a pretty specific card.

@@jamesnorman1772 The art is amazing i'm just tired of the tokenism. First it was blackface Aragorn, Eowyn, and Theoden in the Lotr set, and now both the face commanders in this deck are of color. It's pandering, and it's insulting to do this. By focusing on race it just marginalizes them even more.
